You make it so easy. I wanted to learn the Byzantine chainmaille but couldn't understand. Now I do. Thank you so much, Yvonne. Now, if you'd make your tutorials so that we could buy and download, I'd be ecstatic.

Byzantine is the only pattern I've tried and I LOVE it. I've made 4 bracelets in different colors of aluminum, and 1 in copper. Only 1 was a gift, 'cuz I love wearing them.

I love your videos. I have been a fan for quite a while. I began with wire weaving based on how easy you make it seem, but I cannot figure out how to attach a top drilled pendant to the frame of the weaves. I watched lots of videos, but I seem to get lost on the intricate parts of getting the pendant stable, connecting the ball, and forming the frame. I have progressed in my weaving styles so I'm hopeful. Anyway, while I contemplate what I'm doing wrong, I've decided to start doing chain mail. I fell in love with it at a Renaissance fair so many years ago. It was a bracelet that attached to the middle finger with a small regular chain then the chain mail started there as a triangle which laid over the top of hand. The hand part was embellished with faceted black swavorski crystals. It then was weaved onto the bracelet. I was devastated when it disappeared. Anyway, I've finally decided to jump into chain mail. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate all your work for us in the learning stages. Your voice is so pleasing, and I like how you talk to us like we are there with you creating and crafting! Thank you!!

I am confused, in MN the jump rings here are like 6 mm, 8mm, 10 mm etc. I am a new crafter and have made a few bracelets, but would like to know what sizes you use in MM if that makes sense? I have a bulk amount of 9mm and 10mm THANKS your videos are great, I like when people use 2 different colors so we can see better what to do. Sure once you begin and get used to, it will be easier. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

I've made your Celtic Star kit and found it very easy to follow. Now I'm thinking of trying more chainmail. Could you recommend a site that sells the colored rings? I noticed your site only has the silver color. Thanks!

Hey Yvonne, I’ve seen a lot of your videos and used quite a few of your tutorials and have a question regarding this one. I am currently using 18ga anodized aluminum rings cut using a Pepe tools jump ring maker to make a bracelet but rings keep falling off or coming apart. Do you have any advise on how I can increase the durability of these? I’d like to keep using aluminum as the colors really make the weaves pop. Thanks for all you do and keep up the great work.

Hey, Jason! Possibly using 16ga? Also, its always a good idea to double check your closures; if the rings are actually creaking though I would recommend checking out a different aluminum supplier. I hope this is helpful!

Heya, Tim! The ring size I used for both bracelets was 16a 1/4" which I think is a 5 AR, or maybe 4.5, I'm not sure off the top of my head :p
