I’ve come to terms lately with the realization that I don’t love bronzer on a daily basis. I prefer blush with an occasional bronze day. I like having a place where I can make these kinds of comments and know I’ll be understood.

I was thinking about what makes me happy in my routine… the ilia skin tint is so nice I want to put it on days that I dont leave the house! I haven’t touched eyeliner in about ten years and plan to leave it that way lol!

I’m not new here. I know you use a lot of blush. And even still, I was thinking holy smokes that’s a lot of blush. And just like you always do, blend it out and it looks gorgeous!

I could be way off base on this, but I didn't think the VB one was being marketed as a bronzer/contour duo. I thought it was intended to be two different bronzer shades!

I always felt so stupid with my inclination and habit of wiping my makeup off. Especially with the whole KZread way of applying makeup (really done up full face). So nice of you to share your love as normalization of that! Seriously, very refreshing. I thought I was the only one. Even when I try, my face makeup can just look too fussy and too heavy. Heavy eye makeup all day every day though! 💗

I got the foundation brush and did not like it. Applies too much product, if you like full coverage, yes but if not it’s a pass.

I'm gonna go ahead and echo the folks that are praising the natural lighting setup... I mean, you always do v aesthetically pleasing videos, but HOT DAYUM 🔥 I usually take an "All-Or-Nothing approach to makeup, but with life shenanigans picking back up, having the option to just throw on Concealer, Bronzer, BLURSH, mascara and brows and look like a reasonably well-adjusted human is powerful! Petition to bring Genevieve back to the channel! (Once it's fully cool to have friends up in your space again)

I keep seeing mentions of the Typology Tinted Serum being back in stock and run to their website to see shades 1 & 2 still sold out..... I cant take this tint teasing! 😫 Also- it was my understanding that the VB Bronzing Brick is sold as a dual tone bronzer (not a bronzer and contour shade) so you can “customize” your bronze look.

@@lisadgingersnaps9843 indeed.... and being a paler than pale gal in the Caribbean makes it even harder to find pale shades in stores anywhere. My friends say I am a tropical albino (dark hair and eyes but lack melanin anywhere else) 😂 And my white hair streak I have had since you g doesnt help my whiteness. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I literally don't give a fuck about base makeup. It's so boring. Unless my redness interferes with a specific look I want, I don't bother with any. Maybe I'll slap a glowy primer on. If I want a blankish slate, I'll do spot concealer. I just wanna get to the fun stuff. Eyes, cheek colors, lips. I don't ever do my makeup because I want to look better, I always do it because it's fun. Tbh half the time pretty isn't my goal anyway.

I have a concealer brush like that from Zoeva and. I adore it. Now l want Rare Beauty's too and also the "empty brush" :)

Glad to see your review on the bronzer brick. I'm still trying to decide what I think of it. Have you ever tried the alima pure cream blushes? I just picked on up, and maybe it's because the shade is perfect for me, but I absolutely think the formula is smashing!

@@beaherzberg I hope you like them! I've tried it just on bare skin and it left the most beautiful finish and also as a finishing topper over my powdered face and it looked great. Almost like a putty consistency. And you can just buy the pan instead of the whole package if you have a z palette.

Which of the bronzers you have do you think would be the easiest to wear on skin slightly lighter than yours and a lot more cool-tones? I really want bronzer and am so scared it’ll be way too dark or yellow

You made me buy the Bare Minerals blonzer brush in kiss of rose. Love it. I'm not a fan of the natural light. I know I'm in the minority, but I do my makeup in natural light. I'd rather not see people using it for their GTWM's makeup vids.

@@kackie her video made that pencil and instant buy - rare for me anymore. I love that defined look around the eye, but I have such a hard time finding liner that doesn’t drag down or go on too heavy on my extra pale/bright coloring. This looks perfect.
