Thank you so much for sharing this information! As I’m watching ladies being interviewed on television, I am distracted by the amount of jewelry they choose to wear. I keep thinking what piece or pieces I’d remove. Too many pieces of jewelry can truly ruin a whole outfit!

Understated elegant jewelery is never out of style. Perhaps in certain cities it is no longer popular but in most places we travel we see fashionable women wearing chic pieces of jewelery. We traveled to Flores in Indonesia a few years ago, I bought a large black/gray REAL pearl pendant for a necklace and it cost $18.00 i had it appraised at $2000.00 and I receive compliments on it all the time, i did buy a matching smaller sized same colored pearl studs in Thailand to wear along with the pendant.

If I may, as a 38-year-old woman, I have the same concern! I learned that we should mix classic and trendy pieces, such as a classic outfit and more modern accessories. Or just a trendy outfit, but it has to be elegant. For instance, I used not to wear sneakers, but now I have a pair that is completely white and quite elegant!

If I may as a 62 yo woman may I suggest pearl earrings, whether they are studs, hoops, or dangles. Whether they are classic or modern, you can't go wrong with pearls.

Long ago, I read that women should go more classic the older we get. I think it's true. It's more difficult to tell how old someone is when her clothes don't betray the decade they were made in. Classic clothes also help us look effortlessly elegant. A classic sweater and straight-leg jeans or pants look good on 99% of us and doesn't announce that we're trying too hard. We aren't trying too hard to be young, or sexy, or flamboyant. A good color near our face adds vibrancy; blusher adds liveliness.

I enjoy silver, gold, and rose gold or vintage, real copper jewelry pieces. Copper & rose gold look very exciting on brunettes!

What if I don't wear earrings?

i’m a size 16 in women and that’s considered plus size but not like super plus size but anyway I don’t like chunky jewelry especially those big statement necklaces. I love pendant necklaces, maybe beads/pearls. My point is that’s what I would wear. I hope it doesn’t make me look too big but I don’t think so, thank you it was very enlightening
