I'm not arab, live in the USA. I bought this color and the white and black one just to have as souvenirs bc there were no tutorials and no youtube yet. i bought them at the local arab shopping area near the mosque in 2003 BEFORE they were cool and everyone started to buy them on Amazon when they began to see the US soldiers in their actual old photographs during every conflict in the Middle East since 9/11, the movies are usually from the last 10 years and only then did people start to wear them as scarves, after seeing their heroes in movies from 2015 about a conflict that took place in 2005 lol. No one knew the word ghutra! I sweat from my head a LOT so SHUKRAN WA JAZAKALLAH KHAIR for giving me something to master before the summer and wear it! You matched all the red checkers and lines perfectly! 👍
