Yeah, I know how it is. My hair is very thick, I think it is 2b/2c (wavy) in the length and tips and 1c (straight) in the root.

I feel so bad for all of these guys who didn't grow their hair out because they need other people to do it to feel encouraged. Pero I sit here looking like my mother,with my ears pierced, everyone calling me ma'am, &my hair has been long for almost 8 years. Minus a little 2 year Hiatus cuz i cut it off & it had to grow back. I am such a supporter of do whatever the hell you want to forget what people think. I'm glad this channel has shown some people how to do that

thanks , im in the oil field and hard hats are always a hassle, I got like 13 inches of hair to stuff and this made my life a little easier.

When doing the tuck, it helps me to prepare it in my hands as basically a pony tail, then twist it and place on top of my head. I get much fewer loose hairs trying to escape the cap that way. Cheers from Tampa Bay.

if you have thick individual strands of hair, thank the hair gods profusely. thin hair is what's fragile/much more prone to breakage/tangling, has less volume, and is harder to work with.

Great video man, very helpful. I did your style with all your hair under the hat and love it. Seems you struggled a little to gather it, but I found if you gather all your hair high in the back of your head, about the crown for a high pony or bun, then with the hand not holding your hair, use your pointer finger to twist the hair into a twist, then pull the tail end to the top of your head and the hat pops on perfect. Well 2020 and 2021 happened and no hair cutt for 2 years, now I'm here.

I found too (haven’t watched the full video) if you puff the ends of your hair or if you get a hair cut that feathers the bottom and kinda rounds it , it looks poofy and cool if you like that

I usually tuck my hair in my hat so when I take it off look like a whole different person

I don't usually do the prairie dog unless I'm going out and I really don't feel like dealing with my hair. I put the hat on a little different though. Instead of feeding the highball through, I put the hat on unsnapped, then I just snap it into place. Sure, there's a risk of some neck hair getting caught, but it usually never happens.

Did your hair get straighter and easier to control the longer it got? Mine is collar bone length and I have to use a straightener and blow dryer to get it to do anything but sit in my face.

Honestly, I think I’m just gonna go back to my barber and tell him to shave my head off at this point because I just can’t deal with this any longer! Who knew that having long hair could be a stressful thing! The reality of the situation is I have a bunch of hats and I can’t wear any of them because my hair is so thick that hats just fall off. If I do manage to get a hat on my head my hair will eventually just push it off because of how thick and how much hair I actually have. In your case is easy to showcase different styles in your video because you have very thin hair, but for those of us really thick hair, this is extremely difficult and most of these tips and tricks done work.

hmm...that's a rough one because the thickness of your hair is genetic. I'm sure there are some types of product out there that may help a bit, but I don't think you'll see a giant change.

As long as you don't have split ends or damaged hair, you don't have to get it trimmed. Go to a stylist, they will know what to do.

I have my hair half up in a bun sticking out of the back of my snapback and the rest of my hair braided into two braids. my hair is too thick to braid all of it into two braids so I came up with this for a solution.

I always sport the undercover... but what i do is.. i twist my hair up and put on the hat. It holds the hair and have a cleaner look to it. And i love the shock factor when i take my hat off.
