I have to tell you that when you were talking about the heat gun and you said some have asked if you could use a blow dryer. Well, some years back I was with several and friends and we all were just starting to make cards and wanted to emboss, but no one had a heat gun. So, we did try a blow dryer, and we almost started a fire! It truly was hilarious and we tell the story often, even today. 🤣🤣

Nice Cards Dena! I love to watch your videos because you take the time to explain what your doing and the right way to do a technique like watercoloring. And the reasons why it is important to use watercolour paper and not whisper white or shimmer cardstock. As for the cards I liked your idea of adding a bit of the smoky gray color in the background that was a nice touch. Though I would omit the colored speckacles step, I prefer the clean look myself. I probably wouldn't splash wink of stella either, maybe just brush a bit onto a few petals. Thank you for sharing your cards and your tips! Take Care and Stay Safe!

AWESOME CARD n’ BOX, Dena! LOVE the Watercolor effect n’ I think, it is easier to blend than with the Blends Markers, for me! DEFINITELY AGREE that WATERCOLOR PAPER GIVES the BEST results for projects! :-)). Had to laugh out loud at the “stamp overhang on the block i.e. too lazy to get out the larger block”!!! Sounds so familiar! haha! As for splatters I really like BOTH of them, but lean toward the Coastal Cabana a tad more! OF COURSE, WINK is “the Bomb” to finish the card! :-)) I LOVE this set and the Band Dies are SUPERB! Simple but Lovely elegance to any project! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! I love these cards. The slight gray shadow was perfect! I had a hard time deciding which speckles I preferred, finally decided on the coastal cabana. Also really like that ribbon...what was it again? Thanks, terrific tutorial!

I'm not one to judge. Especially when it comes to getting up off my butt when crafting. I roll around my craft room on my chair all the time. It is just to hard to get up and down. Lol!

I have totally done that with a large stamp on a smaller block - no judging here :)

I just use a small block to pick up some ink from my pad, don’t always have the refill 🤗

I guess the blue speckles, grey was good as well, but maybe reminds me of bug pooh too much.
