Bit useless at the moment. Constant buffering and dropouts. Latency is horrible also so no good as a baby monitor.

1 year later still like that... I also had to disconnect every damn thing from wifi because it needed ALL the wifi to be added to my google home... SO I think its because google devices need so much wifi... We have like 20 devices on 100mps internet

Currently not fully backed integration. Mine constantly buffers. Sometimes it takes minutes to load. It also buffers when the video is playing. Also, right now, the google home display doesnt see the device even though it is there in the google home app. Fustrating.

@xo.mamabear Try upgrading the firmware on the cameras (use Wyze app). I read that only V2 and higher is compatible with Google Assistant.

@@katycodella817 Thanks for the reply! I did a bit of research last night and found out that they restrict the streaming feature to Google home to the US for now. I guess I'll have to wait until they end up enabling it up here in Canada. 🙂

Can it show all cameras?

The wyze cams do "work" with ghome, but it sucks. I just hooked mine up today. It seems like the feed comes and goes. But the functionality still exists

@@ndunwoody Had the same issue with v2 until today. Try updating to latest version and resyncing your wyze account :)

Wyze is good but they sell ok cameras then a month later upgrade?I still dont see a pan cam for outside use yet,you'd think that would be #1 priority instead of 5 cams pointing every direction.Wyze still has a ways to go but their durability is outstanding

While connecting it is saying Your client does not have permission to the requested URL

Yes. "Hey Google, stream backyard camera to kitchen chromecast". As noted in many replies here, it is spotty. 10-12 second delay, buffering, black screen sometimes (start over is the easiest fix. Don't wait for it to self fix). Not ready for primetime

I have a problem where Google plays KZread all the time. For example, when I say ‘ok Google, stream babyroom to television, it plays a KZread video called ‘babyroom’. Is there a solution for this?

@@alejandrosaldana1966 yeah I hear you! I looked everywhere too. I have Alexa through the fire stick and it sucks viewing the cams. It takes longer and it freezes all the time. No motion detection through Google or 2 way talk but that's with all of them. Google works great with the bulbs too. We have one in the bed room and the max in the living room/kitchen. The cam the max has follows you really really well like the rotating echo one shows. It's awesome.

1rst try it acknowledged wyze and connected , I said show living room window ... connecting .... then on my phone it said if it does not display here it will on Google chrome cast (which i have ) turned it on no dice didnt even show the play button like it was trying to connect . So I listened to my wife and unlined and re linked and it does not say that it is connected . Im so pissed and these crappy glitching cameras this is with the latest updates too . What ever it easier just to pick up my phone and look as long as it took to look at front door / living room camera ! BOOOOOO

Once you download the app, it walks you through the very easy set up. The clarity, and range is awesome. I am thinking seriously about adding another camera or two to my 3 camera system. The price is lower than a lot of comparable systems.
