On my 62 convertible with the car on the lift supported at the rockers I was able to slide the 1 piece floor in with inner rockers and braces from the back of the car. I removed both wheel house to rocker braces slid the new floor in trimmed the new floor around the front kick panel areas on both sides and the floor fit perfectly. It won’t fit if you try to lower the body on the new floor.

The lift is by far the best tool in my shop. When I bought it, it was about the price of a 2 pump setup

Huge difference. I've taken 10 cars off the frame in 10yrs. That alone has paid for the lift.

Good thing Bobby is a Welder 🙂 Nice idea on how to hold the body with the box tubing, looks like it worked out great. I have never seen a brake booster inside a car, will be nice to see how it is done. New insulation looks good and it will help out a lot with the cold. How much are you going to pay the Painters 🙂

Hes got some contraption he bought from willwood we will mess with tomorrow. The guys that insulated the shop also painted it. I was going to do a shop update video but not sure if anyone is interested in that.

@@lonestarlows Well it will clean up the engine compartment a little. You will have to see how it turns out. I saw 2 Women painting in the background and figured they were doing the painting. Shop upgrade are great to do and make a big difference for the person working in that shop but others might not care but it might be nice to see what other people do to improve their shop. The best one I ever heard was the guy who built the Grave Digger Monster Trucks. All he wanted was a shop with a concrete floor 🙂 Is the insulation a spray on foam ???? Do you have to do anything to Fire Proof it ????? The sparks from Welding are a big thing
