If you’ve been brushing for a fair amount of time and your hair is starting to get used to laying down, you could definitely scramble your hair when washing it. I do this and while it might take longer to lay down, it will wash your hair and clean out more dirt and products. If you’re doing his method while wolfing (growing out your hair) it will not clean your hair properly. Just going with the wave pattern doesn’t clean out the product under your layed down hair, therefore lift it up and then brush it down again.

Love the video! You should try this. One thing I do when I’m doing the wash and style is I wet my du rag before putting it on before the last wash. I think it helps keep your hair in place when you mess up tying your du rag and or if you trying a different way to tie your du rag your hair is still laid.

Looks real good. So, wash with shampoo in pattern of waves. Then brush for 10-15 mins and repeat. Last, wrap hair with Tsu rag with shampoo on hair and rinse out. Take rag off when completely dried.

Hi Mike nice laddering man I do this all the time I guess the guys don't follow instructions he watching your videos most videos I watch with other wavers they always tell you to brush in your hair pattern when using the shampoo and keep on the durag when doing a wast and style but it is a good reminder mike so good content, man

I wish in would’ve seen this notification earlier I literally just did my wash and style 😂

It is, it for some ppl... they're not there yet. However, this is a good plan to do with trained waves.
