Loc wash routine to prevent build up permanently: How to wash your hair properly with shampoo

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Washing hair properly with the right shampoo products is key for hair health, and I learned it the hard way. As someone who maintains afro hair roots and loced ends, learn from my mistakes in this video about selecting the best shampoo. Locs are most prone to build up, and if you've had braids or any type of dreadlocked style, you know about those white rings that can form on locs over time. After transforming my hair over five months, I wanted to share the process I went through to find a shampoo fit for my hair type to solve the white build-up problem in my locs.
When I realised that my shampoo and wash routine was not giving me the hair of my dreams, it was a big knock. The white rings from residue buildup in my hair had me distraught, but I dusted myself off and took on the challenge to figure out the hair problem and tackle it head-on.
I've learned that a sustainable and minimalist approach to my hair type is key to making every hair wash day a joyous experience. After one year of growing my hair as afro-locs, washing my hair is an opportunity to catch up on how my hair health is, and I am grateful I spotted the problem early. The lessons I've had about build-up I found in my hair five months ago taught me some principles about the importance of a preventive hair wash routine.
