I've been practicing wall climbs for a while now and lately I've been getting better. It took me some time but I can confidently climb a wall less than 10ft high now. If anyone else is trying to learn this, my advice is this: practice the first half (stepping into the wall and launching upwards) on tall walls without the intention of climbing over, and the second half (using finger strength and upper body to grab the wall and perform a top-off) on short walls without a lot of speed or launch.
Still working on this, definitely more difficult to get the hang of than beginner moves. My main issue is that when I push into the wall, I focus too much on reaching and not enough on jumping off the wall, so I just slip down. I'm not giving up on such a cool and effective move though. Train safe!

I've seen people doing 2 or even 3 steps on the wall so they can get more height in order to climb that wall easier.. It could be helpful to make another video on how do to do it =)
@benl8962
7 жыл бұрын
when people do 2-3 steps they usually do a flip of the wall, if you wanna get to the top of the wall you should do this, if you take another step off the wall you'll just push yourself backwards instead of up

Put speed and momentum into the wall. Me: “AAAAAAH!!!” I basically ran into the wall like an idiot and then stuck my foot out. The worst part is I knew how to do it right up to yesterday, and I blanked while running at the wall. The wall was short enough for me to grab the top while standing still.
Thanks! Ive learned the 8 foot wall and am now going for a 10 foot wall. Im 46 yrs old and age is just a number.

@TappBrothers
7 жыл бұрын
For sure, many of these parkour moves can be discovered naturally through playing in your environment. If your slow getting up, likely you will need to increase your upper body strength. Pull ups and top outs. Check out the top out video I mention @5:46
