Yes. If function VLOOKUP ke sath thoda complicated ho jata hai.

nice video sir and the best part was the easy explanation .. but sir ek suggestion hai agar aap video ke sath sath practise files bhi yaha de de taaki humlog ghar bethe ye practise kar paye to bahut help ho jayegi .. aap notice kijiyega jo bhi excel ke videos upload karte hai sabse jyada views unhi ke rehte hai jo sath mai practise files bhi de dete hai taaki video dekhne wale practise kar sake .. agar aap bhi aisa kar de to sone pe suhaga ho jayega .. What if there is a "date" column in place of Department. We can not use "&" function because date gets converted into number. Secondly this can not be applied for large data. I have 57000 rows in my data base. Thanks.

I have two excel files, which includes names of instruments being played by the individual musicians. For example, under the column heading "Keyboard", there are two musicians having the name "John". In the second file, there are details of all musicians like name, father's name, address and instrument played. For example, in the second file, against the name "John", (total two Johns are there, one is a Keyboardist and another is a guitarist). Now in the first file, if I select the name John under Keyboard Column, it will display all the data related to John is a Keyboardist in the second file.. However, if there are two musicians in the name of John and both are Keyboardist, in that case all records in the second file of the both the persons identified as "John", who play the Keyboard will be displayed. Is there any way to do it in Excel. Shall be grateful,if any assistance is provided. If required can send both the files. Regards.
