Hi John, as a fellow ship modeler I know how expensive varnishes can be and how infuriating it can be when a can of varnish goes off and sets hard in the can. Here is a tip I picked up somewhere to prevent that. When closing the can wipe the varnish from the edge, replace the lid securely, then turn the can upside down for ten seconds or so. This will seal the can and prevent any air from getting in over the long term. I hope you find this useful, as a user of Humbrol enamels I certainly did. Looking forward to the rest of the build.

Hi John great video, excellent work you’re doing. Ever thought about using syringes to decant liquid from tins easier to measure as well

I’m almost there mark, happy with the sound and cameras, just need to sort a couple of issues out with the lighting
I think thats a first also john, can’t remember a staining video, a tedious job staining but worth it with a nice result, nice work sir
