How to use your CRICUT PAPER CUTTER / TRIMMER

I’m certainly not perfect. I don’t have a spotless, picture perfect craft room and I will make mistakes along the way, but I think that’s a great way to learn.

Today I’d love to show you how to use your paper cutter / material slicer.
This tool is a great way to cut you material to a manageable size to then place onto your Cricut mat.
You can use it for your favourite vinyl, cardstock or paper.
I found mine a little confusing when I first opened it but I muddled through and found the way, I like to use it and I'd love to show you.
You don't need the Cricut brand paper cutter. Fiskars also have a great cutter.

Brilliant video, thank you. I've spent the last two years frustrated with my Cricut trimmer as I couldn't get the sizes right. I didn't realise there was a side piece that comes out, duh!

Have you been able to buy the replacement housing that the blade clicks into ? I can only find the blades but I need the whole piece . Just curious 👀 they do not offer it here apparently
Hi Kylie, Is there a secret for getting the extended arm out? I've tried everything and feel so dumb, because it's not extending at all. Great video

Me too! I feel the same way. I'm literally searching for videos on how to get the arm to swing out lol. I don't want to break it, but it's no good if I can't use it.
