very nice intro, I've seen a lot of negative videos about how this app tracks much of our information and sells it. I guess that's how they make money like many so-called free apps. Do you have any key features that can reduce that to a minimum? I believe a video explaining about the information collected and how to reduce it as much as possible would be very popular. ...Thanks

HELP please! After I enter my # I get a message that says “we couldn’t send an SMS to your number. Please check your number and try again in 1 hour” this has happened every time I try. Yes, my number is entered correctly. I have an IPhone but have several internal settings turned off. Wondering if that might be the problem. Not sure where to go from here. Thanks in advance

Going on vacation wherein the resort uses this app for booking, tables, spa appts, room service meals etc., and to find out what the daily itinerary on campus will be. But I want to use a dormant phone, in case it gets stolen. Can I sign up with the phone number from my legit phone - in order to gain the sign up code - and then proceed as required with the dormant phone?

Question : in android WhatsApp : if I have photos in certain chat and I want to share those photos to mail then I select them ( example 10 photos ) But But But when I select more than photo the Share Button will disappear , while in iPhone WhatsApp every I can share it , is that Function not Existing in Android WhatsApp App ???? I am new to this. Look into Google Voice, one phone with two numbers. I was a GS volunteer. Gave the parents my Google Voice number, instead of my personal cell number.

The problem with many beginner's guides is that the presenter cannot remember what it's like to be a beginner. He begins cataloguing endless features and options, which just confuse the beginner. I need to contact a foreign hotel, which has given me a WhatsApp number: basic, beginner problem. 20 minutes later, I have no idea how to proceed.

What is in it for WhatsApp? Why would they bother unless there is someting in it for them. They obviously sell your phone numer I would think.

Short answer: 1) The large user base fuels demand for WhatsApp for Business subscriptions from businesses, which you don't ever have to use. 2) The WhatsApp Pay service makes money like any other payment processor, which you don't ever have to use. 3) Facebook ads can direct users to businesses who use WhatsApp for Business, which you don't ever have to use.

@@Howfinity like on your phone it has five buttons on the bottom. On my phone it has three buttons on top. So when you show your five buttons and what they do it doesn't make sense when I only have three buttons

yea. Android puts settings in the three dots. and iPhone puts on on the bottom. But 80% of the video was inside the chat wiindow which is very similar. But I'll get myself an android.
