Brother my congratulations on the addon. It makes with different trains like electric and diesel. For it's hard to find descending train add-ons like yours.

my problem here is that the train can't go uphill, even though I want my station and track to be on top of a mountain, remember now Minecraft has updated 1.18 and there are many high mountains

the fix is the collision boxes, it needs to be smaller. I might see if i can get permission to continue the updates on the addon

Also, if you're including this add-on in a fun train set world set up as a kids train set like those you would buy from IKEA, the add-on would be unplayable because to make an 8-shaped loop rather than the classic circular loop which goes around your Cristmas tree, it would require a bridge that serves as a tunnel and slope. Because the train can't climb slopes, it would stall and not climb the bridge. Again, don't mean to dislike this add-on, but it's because of the bugs.

I'd like to post my full review of the mod, as well as the changes I would do to improve the overall experience. First, I love the mod itself, especially with how the trains are somewhat customizable as well as how close to actual minecart mechanics they mimic. Its a great way to transition from Minecart tracks to Locomotive Railway. I do love the shipping containers as well, and the carriages, although I wish you could put mobs into a carriage like a minecart (potentially more than one) they are very nifty in of themselves, especially when helping players feel like passengers. My problems, however, and the main one at that (although I'm sure its because of version changes) is the placement of the actual cars. I'd imagine the Engine, as well as the Carriage and Cargo, would only be placed ON the track, and auto adjust to the rails, like a minecart. I will also say that the connection (forgot the actual term) is subpar at best. I do like being able to connect the cars to the train, but I feel like the cars should be placed onto the track individually, then the players could reverse the Engine itself until it connect with any and all cars, like actual trains do. The current way its done just feels... extra? Craft something then craft it again to actually use it to connect with the train? It also doesn't help that when you accidentally destroy the Engine, you now have to destroy all the cargo/carriages to then place it all over again. But those are more complex issues, train connections, and multiple passengers. Now lets continue to nitty bitty gripes First, more colors. All 16. Simple, lets move on Second, the crafting recipes. They are stupid cheap. I'd leave the tripwire hook, don't get me wrong, but I'd change the other ingredients. I know minecraft is a fantasy game, but some realistic elements would be nice. The crafting recipes should have all the wood replaced with copper (or iron if its still made in the older version) then the center (with the hook) should have individual changes. Instead of regular chests, cargo cars should be made with "Minecarts with chests". Carriages replace the leather with regular minecarts, then the engine, I'd imagine, would be crafted using a single minecart and a blast furnace. Does this make trains expensive? Yes. But keep in mind the stuff on the tracks should be more expensive than the tracks themselves, or at least I think they should be. The models could use an update as well, but not for more complexity. I'd imagine the Engine would be FAR simpler than its current form. Like a simple box on wheels, with a smokestack, with a spot for the character. Sometimes more is better, but in this case, maybe less would be better. Simplicity goes a long way (also I don't care for the white box in the center) the carriage could also be simpler, and maybe just a two seater, and other than the purple paint, the cargo containers are perfect Actually I lie, the cargo containers should have a double chest worth of space. No cap. Currently, the mod *in my opinion* sits at a solid 3/5. It has a lot of potential. And the closer to a vanilla style it has, the better it would be, even better than trying to model and insert 1000 different train models with their own cars and tracks. Don't overdo it like some people and get burnt And finally, my own self inserts on improving it further. Have the train act like the Furnace Minecart from the old days of Java, where in order for the train to "go" it needs fuel. Coal, charcoal, blaze powder, lava bucket, whatever. But it still requires fuel. It would make trains far more interactive And add hopper cars. Train cars that can hold more than a traditional hopper (10, maybe 15 slots) and can both load and unload as fast as a hopper minecart. Doing this, make cargo containers immune to hopper/hopper minecart influence, since its not a giant metal container. Other than that, I still absolutely love the purpose of this mod, and love you as a human being for creating this mod. I have no modding/addon abilities or tools, so its awesome someone like you took on the challenge. You're an amazing person for it, and I thank you.

I would like to giv suggestions if your planning to make a third one. Okay first of all, new locomotives and diesel engines. It will be much more customizable Second, Moving fast without powered rails. Its annoying when you hsve to put powered rail and normal rails it takes alot of time than placing only normal rails. So could you speed up the locomotives? Third, new carriers. Like an entity or animal carrier if its not possible its fine i wont mind, but if you have more carriers idea in your mind feel free to share it And thats all of it im sorry if its alot of stuff if you dont see my comment. Sorry about this but I am only giving 1 star for the least (Via MCPEDL). Here are some reasons why: 1. The train does not climb up on slopes. Understandable, but not for everyone. It would not fit for underground or elevated train systems especially for those in worlds with mountains. That means that trains can only slide down but can't climb, unlike the classic lame minecart. It doesn't even climb even with powered rail. Again, I understand this, but for Minecraft players like me who build elevated or underground subway or train systems which contains hills and ramps, it's not practical. 2. The coupler is another problem: whenever you use either the carriage or cargo coupler, you have to stand at a certain angle from the train in order to connect the carriages or cargo. If not, then either would either clip through one another, connect in front of the engine, through the ground, or not connect at all. Keep in mind that you can only connect about 3 to 4 carriages or cargo per train before having to move the engine. But either way, the carriages and cargos behind would simply detach and not follow behind. Another downfall and bug which does not allow this add-on to outdate the classic lame minecart. 3. It is definitely not like the train mods for Minecraft that are only available for PC users, because it does not climb up slopes, couple correctly, or can connect an infinite amount of carriages or cargo. 4. It could take almost all day to connect all cargos and carriages to the train, only to see the end of it detach, leaving only 2 to 3 carriages attached and the others detached. 5. Whenever I log off and join the world again, the whole train simply detaches again. Overall, It's fine, but not that great. The fact that it can't climb hills or attach properly makes this add-on unplayable. It does in fact not replace minecarts, so players can still use them for roller coaster rides. but even though it doesn't unlike other train add-ons for Minecraft PE, it's still leave Minecraft users with the classic lame minecart while searching for another train mod for PE unless they switch to playing on PC or Java Edition. In the end, minecarts will always be a thing in Minecraft PE.
