Your tip to wrap the one side with painters tape is exactly what I needed to know! I've avoided using these pliers because they kept making dents in my wire. Excellent suggestion! Thank you!!

Thanks SO much! I bought a pair of these specifically for memory wire but had no idea they could be so useful! Ive been struggling to make wrapped loops but now I'm going to try this way :)

Any suggestion as to what I am doing wrong. My pliers seem to be making a cut in the wire on my 20g wire. Thanks.

It would have been nicer had you shown how to make the wrapped loop with the bead in place. How much room do you use?
