Got it. I will try that. Editing in the 2D window is an option but I find that styleline “preserves” (if I can use that term) the style of the garment better.

I have a question though. I have a dress where I am trying to lower the hem. I use move style line and click the garment and then get the blue styline for the hem. All good so far. When I try to move the hem down, it limits to like an inch of movement. If I try to move it up, I can move it as much as I want, but down there is a limit. There is an arrow. But just won’t lengthen anymore…

Hi. Yes the tool Style Lines does have a limit depending on what is being done. In this case you may need to drag > release > Simulate and then repeat. This is to avoid collision later on. The other option would be to edit in the 2D window instead

So your final render in this , the rib knit looks incredible, what did you do to get the level of realism in the rib? Could you do a specific video on how you did this? Because I would really like to know to mimic it myself.

Hi. These textures were created by scanning a real knit and then creating the corresponding Maps. We have a video that shows this process that might be just what you are looking for - kzread.info/dash/bejne/aWSVx8tunabWZ8Y.html

All pants in clo3d come out like new, how to pretend that they are old, drawn on the knees, in the folds under the knees. Or something like that so they don't look like they just came from a store. And the crumpled ones were precisely in certain places, and not everywhere and where it was not necessary.

There are a number of techniques that can be used here, one of which is the Washing Textures in the Material & Trims folder in the Library. You can also add Internal Lines and apply a slight fold angle. I would also suggest having a look in our community forums. support.clo3d.com/hc/en-us/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&query=washing

Think they do the same but CLO is more for fashion and Marvelous for games and movies. You can use the fabric in Maya etc.

Marvelous Designer & CLO share the same technology, both are able to visualize garments in 3D. The differences lie in the users goals, Marvelous Designer has specific tools to create garments for use in the CG, VFX and film industries. Whereas CLO has tools catered to the fashion industry's full workflow from Bill of materials, seam allowances to ultimately printing out actual patterns for use in production. If you have other questions about Marvelous Designer please check out their KZread account which is linked to ours in the Channels tab.

If garments are hidden you can toggle the show garment button in the 3D Garment Display vertical menu OR Shift-W will bring back all hidden garments.
