Admittedly, I bought a prebuilt power box that holds a 40 Amp-Hour Bioenno and love it. Been running my POTA station from home and it works well. Looking to do some activations soon.

That's pretty hard to pass up I'd imagine. Hope you get out to do your own POTA activation. You could prob go week with 40AH lol!

dxcc and worked all states are allowed on Warc bands. Pota is like a mini dx-expedition and chasing dx.

Going from 20W out to 50W out makes approx 1/2 "S Unit" difference on the receive end.

True but going from 5 to 50 makes a big difference. even 10 to 20 can change a 45 to a 55

I just saw it today and honestly I don't have the foggiest idea. I've never even seen that antenna much less used one. All I can say is try it and find out. I wouldn't imagine it would hurt anything. I'll expect a full report on your findings in the morning of course.

Is there a way to pull your spot on Pota for what ever reason ? Say you are done and moving to another park and only takes 10 minutes to move, Or say you just want to pull the spot and just work those that are already there and finish the pileup.

Yep. In the comments section where you would spot yourself, just put QRT and it will mark you as done.

Improve the antenna if possible , 20 to 50 would barely be noticed and you will just use up more battery power ,

@@hamradiotube There are two mixes of MILO. A New Zealand one and a Australian one. They tried to sell the Australian one here and the out cry was so large they went back to the New Zealand one. Just a interesting fact FYI.

How I wish folks would re-spot them selves QRT when they're done, it would make the page cleaner. Just humble opinion. 73 de W8MJL
