How to use the Pen Tool of Affinity Designer on the iPad | Image tracing

In this tutorial, I'll teach you everything you need to know so you can master the Affinity Designer Pen Tool for iPad.
During the tutorial I explain the different modes that this tool has, including several of the additional functions that are available in the top bar.
Also, I show you some modifiers that can be used from the command controller (or with gestures) to make your work easier and faster while you're drawing.
Finally, I show you a couple of examples of how to use the different modes of this tool for tracing a sketch or image.
In this case I'm using the iPad version of the program, but the same steps can be followed from the desktop version.
I hope this tutorial helps you learn something new.

Hola! Muchas gracias. El círculo se conoce como controlador de comandos y viene con la app a partir de la versión 2. Cuando tienes un documento abierto, para hacerlo visible tienes que presionar en botón de 3 líneas del menú superior y en la lista vas a ver una opción casi al final que se llama "Alternar controlador de comandos". Solo tienes que apretar ahí para que aparezca. Saludos.

Hola! A mi particularmente me gusta más Affinitity Designer porque encuentro la interfaz más intuitiva y lo que ofrece se ajusta a cómo trabajo. Además, es un solo pago en lugar de una suscripción. Elegir una sobre otra depende de qué es lo que busques y que herramientas son las que más utilizarías. Por ejemplo, algo que le falta a Designer y que muchos reclaman es el "Autotrazado", para mi no es algo crucial porque rara vez lo utilizo. Linearity Curve si tiene esa función, aunque en mi opinión no funciona tan bien. En todo caso utilizaría esa función en Inkscape. Otra cosa que tiene Curve y Designer no, es una función automática para remover el fondo de una imagen, funciona masomenos bien... dependiendo que tan compleja sea la imagen. También consideraría si piensas utilizar solo la versión de iPad o también quisieras tener la versión de escritorio. Designer funciona en iPad, Windows y Mac. Aunque las versiones se compran por separado, a menos que compres la Licencia Universal que te da acceso también a Photo y Publisher en todos los sistemas operativos. Linearity Curve funciona en iPhone, iPad y Mac (no tengo una Mac así que no he probado esa versión). Si comparo únicamente la versión de iPad de ambas, pese a que le faltan algunas funciones, encuentro Affinity Designer más completa. Aunque, pese a que ahora han introducido el plan de suscripción, Linearity Curve te sigue dejando usar la app gratis hasta un máximo de 3 files. Affinity tiene un periodo de prueba de 30 días que te da suficiente tiempo para probarla bien, así fue como me decidí. En todo caso, si decides comprarla y puedes esperar, suelen sacar buenos descuentos alrededor de Black Friday. A veces tienen alguna oferta en algún otro momento del año, pero casi siempre por Black Friday. Saludos.
