Dear all!! - if you're looking for a good computer to run Inventor, you may then be interested to know that I have now developed and released the worlds most comprehensive FREE benchmarking test for Autodesk Inventor with a global online leaderboard. See the announcement video here kzread.info/dash/bejne/ipeflc6vpbC4mrA.html and check out the leaderboard here invmark.cadac.com/#/ - all designed by me, Neil Cross TFI.
You are the man! Thanks for your tutorials: crystal clear. Please more on splines and surfaces and freeform new features.
Many thanks! Using Fusion 360 now and almost every concept transferred perfectly. Plus, I love the "happy day", "that's a treat", etc. Keep up the good work.
I love the cute music you put in your tutorials ! They are very pleasant to understand and listen to! Thanks :)
After two other abandoned attempts to learn Inventor (one in 2012 and the previous one a couple of years ago) this is the farthest I have ever gotten. And the reason for that is your easy-to-understand vids. Really, really helpful. While still a long way to go before I feel comfortable creating things, I am beginning to see that this program may not require sacrifices under a full moon and scattered chicken bones to comprehend. Thanks very much!
Had an issue at work and was absolutely stuck, totally saved my day, thanks!
excellent tutorial ive used several of yours so far and its help me no end keep the lessons coming
Its attractive how calm tNice tutorials guy is
You can't vicariously experience sotNice tutorialng through another person, the sa way you need to try it for yourself before losing hope.
This is great. It would be captivating to see how you use the Draft Tool for creative effect. The mystery of that tool has fascinated people for centuries.
I took the free wheeling, devil may care attitude toward the dimensions as I followed the tutorial to create my model of this razor. I paid careful attention to the symmetry constraints and spline curve geometry and learned a great deal. and the other very well presented aspects of this tutorial. I'm very proud of the results this tutorial helped me to achieve. The hilarious part was when I measured the final razor handle it was 12.5 inches long !! Thank you.
Great video. I especially like the little bits of humour you've managed to fit in to keep us entertained.
Awesome tutorial! very helpful, keep up the good work!
Everytime I go to design something new... I always find myself back at TFI. Designing a compressor housing for an engine turbo. Tried coil and then sweep... here I am at loft. Keep up the great work.
Keep em' comin' and thanks for all of the help!!
Thanks, buddy! I learned a lot from your videos. Good Job Mate!!

everytNice tutorialng. It was still interesting. Wish I had tNice tutorials video when I started out
Hi, would lofting along a helix be the best approach to design a tubular spiral slide? The final model would need to be in separate sections that can each be detailed on their own drawing. Any tips would be fantastic . Great Video by the way.
(2) in "Slicex" you could create New Drum Loops and softs in any order from different slices. And keep the loop slices playing in and
hence on here a month later. thanks for making feel normal again.
If you use the symmetry constrain you don't have to constrain the points horizontally or vertically to each other, that's an additional step that does not do anything and you can just skip it.
Thumbs up
favorite tNice tutorialng... In life. That's not an exaggeration it's actually the pinnacle of my existence, and if my life were a solar system, creating

hi i like your tutorials, they are really helpful, is there any way you can split this curved loft in two parts for purpose of manufacturing ?
@Neil3D
8 жыл бұрын
+Sarunas Greinis I'm annoyed with myself that I haven't done a guide yet on how to do that! I thought I had. Yea you use the split command and bust it out into a multi-bodied solid, I've done a video on multi-body solids but I can't remember if I used the split command in it. I'll get something done on that as soon as I can, probably not for another week as I'm away on business at the mo and unable to record!
how is inventor for automotive parts? purely for digital rendering and design concepting?
When loft doesn’t work is there something similar to ruled surface?
haha i totally agree bro!
TFI. How can i pierce guide curves in two different curves?
nice to have a music in background. Makes it more interesting :)
❤️
u see that little cog option button on the bottom near the fullscreen button? if u click on that u can chose to slow it down or speed it up. i
21:39 What I need to see how is how we would shell a complex loft like that WITHOUT it making us go with an absurdly thin thickness.
Thanks for this grate video again.I'm wondering what is the right way to SEAMLESSLY blend de twoo surfaces together.Like explained in the video at 19:50min. The sharp edge doesn't look nice in the zebra stripes Thank u in advance, Daniel

Spot on. Everybody can make a extrusion... The hard one, is to handle continuity's and smoothness in every transition between volumes. Which we don't see here. Imagine creating an entire dashboard... This software is not a proper A class creator. ICEMsurf is one of the example of the real thing without nurbs and fake approximations.
