thx for the tutorial, yours is more detailed compared to the ones that i previously watched, flicker and the whirlwind mode instantly became op after i watched ur vid, as for the smash mode, i'm still figuring that one out.

I wanted to add to this even if it’s like 4-5 months late. You can switch stances at ANY time. Blocking? Perfect Dodging? Being attacked? During ultimates? During knockdowns? Any time. So when dashing your inputs would be [dash-m1/m2-switch] During pd’s (usually whirlwind swaybacks) to deal some extra dmg it’d be [pd-quick m2-switch-m2] And even when you’re doing a shovel punch, you can switch to flicker while doing the heavy. And please play aggressively.

yo i think you should do a list or a video showing what mode to utilize/use depending on opponent’s style, eg hawk - hitman or smash

High risk/punishment instead of reward

The only problem is that flicker takes alot of stamina when dashing but smash doesn't even tho smash is slugger and are known for being slow and even a slugger type style, iron fist, was nerfed to have turtle dashes, its also much better to use one or two of the modes as switching modes can even confuse you, over all, not bad for tripping people up but can get cooked as its fragile

@@inFxmousYT ye so much people are keeping their stamina only for attack and do as much damage as possible but using dodge is a good way for feinting and get unpredictable. it's also a great advantage for agile fighting styles such as freedom, chronos or hands low. but very few people actually use dodges like this, just to avoid being hit, if u know what i mean

abit late to reply but dang idk how to describe this and not be rude but god dam freedom is very bad, to the point where me 18k elo beat a 20k elo guy that was using freedom with ippo and cus blud was so fragile he lost 10% of his hp at the first m1 string i pulled off, ontop of that i actually tried freedom so this isnt just some yapping, there is absolutely no one that can fully fill out the skill gap for freedom, surely you already know this by now cuz its been 4 days and u probably figure out you cant really win with freedom when ur opponent is a diamond rank or higher. also u have good editing for someone with 214 subs keep it up :>

Soo to use freedom you should use it when Whirlwind -Your 1v1ing someone spamming or aggresively -Timing -Not lose hp fast Flicker -Range -Timing (My opinion) Smash -Aggressive play style -Guard break easily -Timing Tell me if im right or wrong

I love whirlwind stance but what if your m2 is pd’ed in whirlwind?

a lot of ppl miss this: whirlwind mode has a small counter bonus you could say whirlwind is a fast weaker hawk that can still use back dash.

Don’t move in any direction, like don’t move your left thumb as if you’re walking. Just push dash and you’ll do the sway back

Did you make sure you’re only pressing dash and not sliding forward or backwards?

this guide could be worse. I feel whirlwind is more of an offensive style than a passive one however it can do both. Smash is NOT the strongest mode in the slightest. Flicker or whirlwind is better.

ok so if you are a lazy mf that dont wanna learn how to play with him: whirlwind: rely on dashes and dodging while doing some damage to gain ult and possibly knock the opponent down flick: just wait for the opponent to come near u to do some pretty good damage while not letting him pd u cuz that can backfire smash: rely on your m2s while doing some m1 combos to block break your opponent to get some of that good m2 dmg or just ult them
