The medium bar comes already in the saddle, it will be black in color.

Just a thought, lift the horses thoracic sling while measuring in order to give you the size the back "lifts" to when in healthy motion. Measuring the "static" stance may not be enough. I gleaned that knowledge from the Balance International Saddle makers. ❤

What are small and light saddles for ponies?

Hello, Depending on the shape of the pony, you could try a Wintec Pony AP saddle. Really lightweight. Great kids saddles!

Hello! Yes the Wintec Western saddles take the same gullet bars :)

You can't change the gullet in the western saddles, I have no idea why they are telling you that you can. The only western type that you can change the gullet out in is the Wintec Pro stock saddle. Also NOT all Wintec English saddles can have the gullet changed, the older models are unable to have their gullets changed.

so the medium would be the black one then?
