I just LOVE those cards! I have a Cricut Joy, and this video almost makes me want to upgrade ti the Cricut Joy Xtra (LOL)! 😍

Both cards are really cute! I think the unicorn is my favorite, though. That's pretty neat that it tells you to move the star wheels.

I love the frosty cover! It may seem minor but they disappear when I put them down when they are clear! 😂. Both cards are so cute!

I need the new joy machine! Love this so much! When I get a new mat I always put a small heart or any type of sticker on the right side of the clear film so I know which side is up. ❤

Good idea! I had totally forgot that there was that clear sheet and I cut a card without removing it 🙄! I had watched her joy videos, so I felt empowered, lol, and due to my excitement I ruined my card mat. I bought a new mat.

I never got interested in the card mat , until your video!! I purchased a card mat and now delving in! Your creativity is off the chart! Love all your videos! You’re a great teacher!

I love how you used your ink pads to color the inner card, instead of using the Cricut colored cards. One thing I noticed a while back was the cutouts for inserting the background, and having the cuts being off a lot. And you used the pens to draw the designs. Very clever. I will definitely make these.

I learned something tonight. Never could find where the insert cards were. So I just gave up and never tried again. Thanks for doing the video!

Really enjoyed this quick tutorial. I usually do the larger card size, so I like the unicorn card because the cutouts are really nice. Can’t wait to try your idea of making my own card base and insert. Really loved the ink blending. The final look of the 2nd card would definitely be my favorite. Hi Bethany! Is there a way to calibrate the Cricut Joy Xtra to fix the alignment issue you mentioned? I thought you had your card perfectly inserted in the mat, too.

Help!! Trying to follow where to find insert cards and I’m lost 😞 In DS on canvas. Left side down to projects and click on it. Next step is where I’m lost. You say go ALL the way over to the right and click on all categories…I don’t see that. I have an all projects drop down box. When I scroll down to Circut Categories and continue down to insert cards and click on it my screen shows no projects found??? What am I doing wrong?.

I wish i could've seen this video sooner, i put a card and place to cut it, and it wasn't sticking so it was a mess, then i noticed that clear protective paper all cut up and the mat got all marked up😢

I followed all that you did on “fairy” card. Cricut Joy Xtra printed the design on my card but the project is “done” without cutting. Can you help? This is the 1st time I’m using this machine and I’m new to Cricut.

I am not sure what you are referring to?

A lot of people have had mat issues with the Xtra. I think they have some defective mats.

I did to! The defective ones bent on the sides a curled up like they were too wide. I went and purchased two new ones. So far they’ve been okay.
