Thank you I was so confused, last game I played someone typed saying they had an extra Ray Gun Schematic if anyone needed one and I didn't have it yet so I was flipping through menus trying to figure out how to chat so I could figure out where on the map they were but had no luck

Thanks! Was trying to figure it out!? Last few games I've seen people offering schematics I don't have yet and wanted to find out how I could answer and hopefully meet up and grab stuff from people!? Love the MWZ Community!? Most everyone is down to help each other out!? Now that I know what to do hopefully it'll work out good and help me get some stuff or help out others!? Holding the tac map button was probably only thing I didn't think about!? Glad I know now cuz I was confused "going y the fuck can't I find text chat!!??"

Yes that will absolutely work. It will pop up in game chat and everyone will see it on the screen. So if you go down and your far away from everyone you can type it in the chat and hope someone will be nice enough to come revive you, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I appreciate it

Have you checked the privacy settings maybe it's something in that , that can help you I wish I could help more ,but that's the first thing I thought of

They can see my text and respond but when they respond to me I cant see it ? My squad mates tell me people in the lobby respond to me but I can't see it. Any ideas why this is ?

It may be something in the privacy settings where you can't see some voice chat or text chat something like that. I'm guessing there's something you have switched off where you cannot see text chat. I wish I could help I Dont Know what could be the issue unless for some reason it shadow ban you from text chat, but if your voice chat is working, it should have your text chat working, too so I’m not sure. What kind of chat is that? I‘m on pc and I press enter to open the chat. It looks completely different.

It's the same button that opens up your map. I'm not sure what that is on PC because I haven't played COD on PC but whichever button opens your map you just hold down on that and it would work sorry I couldn't be more helpful but I think you can look in settings and see what key bind you have it set to

@@lunarcanine5388 when I play on PC it makes me type with the keyboard, Even if I am just using my controller, I don't believe there is a way to type with your controller on PC at least. Not that I know of. I hope this was helpful.

That's odd I wish I knew how to fix that, I have had someone else say they had the same issue , maybe it's something to do with privacy settings I would check there to make sure you have text chat enabled.
