Can I say that I received a teleprompter back in December (4 months ago) and I could not mount my teleprompter until I saw your video. OMG thank you for taking each step to show us how to mount it.

The best tutorial how to use this teleprompter. I just got my TMP100 a week ago and recorded one video so far with it. It took me 18 min to record a 10 min video which is a record time for me!! (Typically it would take me a couple of hours). It’s a game changer!

Hi John, may I ask you how do you use the voice track? It worked for you at first? I'm trying to get some recommendations on how to make it work, I already tried the pro version on my smartphone and iPad but the text doesn't move as I read. thanks in advance.

Hey Anthony! Thanks for this. I have the exact teleprompter and use a Canon EOS M50 Mark II. However, I found that the camera was too low in the teleprompter, so in my videos, I was looking above the camera. I tried adjusting the guide position in the setting, but that didn't help. Finally, I had to put a small book under the camera to align my eyes with the lens, but then the camera was not screwed to the teleprompter, which was not safe. Could you suggest a hack to get around this problem?

Awesome tutorial. Regarding seeing myself while recording, I look at is this way: When we talk to someone, we can't see ourselves anyway. We are what we are when we talk to someone. How we look, how we move; gestures or no gestures, etc.... we never see all that in normal face-to-face conversation. So while recording, I believe by not seeing myself I tend to be more natural because it *is* natural to talk like that.

Great tutorial, Paul, Thank you, I have experienced that presenting videos using Powerpoint slides as a teleprompter software is inevitable. You look like a Pro in front of camera because you always have the whole concept in mind so you maintain eye contact and deliver your speech naturally & confidently in front of camera and you don't follow word-for-word.

Thank you for the video, Paul. Using a teleprompter has a huge benefit, I experienced the advantage of using a Teleprompter and PPT Mirror software: I speak more freely and, of course, ‘‘get my messages across’’ in self -produced videos.I display my PowerPoint in reverse or flip it and put my tablet in the teleprompter and get started, simple, and easy to use. Which leads my videos to more naturalness. Hope this helps

you can use PPT Mirror tool to mirror-flip your slides and display them in TTL (through the lens) in teleprompter its more way professional and a great option to assist you in delivering professional narration, because you don't have to read word for word as you always have you whole concept in front of camera.

On the phone app you can increase the size of the text so it is easy to read vertically!

Depends if you're using a crop sensor. We've found 24mm to be about as wide as we can go on a full frame sensor

Depends on what style you want to convey to your viewers. As we said in this training, we don't actually read the teleprompter word for word but use it as a guide so we don't go on tangents. But I started 5 years ago only using powerpoints

I purchased the app you suggested, but the voice teleprompter scrolling doesn't work well. Sometimes, it gets stuck. I am not sure if there is a configuration I need to do there. Can you tell me what I need to configure to make it decent?

How far away are you from your phone? Usually the closer you are the better the voice tracking is

I have that teleprompter and I must say it makes my image softer and darker. It’s like it looses image clarity. Why does this happen

Does it affect the exposure after you set the camera into the cover?

Canon EOS r with the 50mm EF lens!

A lot of great content! I did find it odd that you said you can attach the bottom prompter plate to the tripod head using any hole you want. Yeah, I guess you could but that might result in a very unbalanced head like you have in your session. The whole purpose of options on the plate is to get a rough balance between the prompter mirror and your camera. That point is not vital but certainly good accepted practice.

Hey guys, is anybody having issues with the prompt smart pro app? I already tried from my smartphone and iPad but even speaking super close to the device the voice track doesn't work.

Teleprompters for the WIN!

I use mine with an ipad, much better than a phone. It’s tough to use outdoors because the screen is hard to see. I also always use my phone to preview the view and start and stop my a6500. Larry

@@MrPaulXavier as an actor, I have pages is sides with my scene to read off of the Telepromter. How did your get your dialogue of pages to load up onto the telepromter. Do you use another app. I will be using a tablet to show my words and a camera on the back of the Telepromter to film me.
