Really appreciate this video. I watched several other "basic overviews" of Surfshark which immediately got lost in the weeds. This was as advertised - much appreciated.

Just bought Surfshark subscription, and i must say i'm loving the clean UI. And as for the speed so far so good, im unblocking(or one might say whitelisting) my games that prohibits the usage of vpn such as steam, and yeah it is quite a hassle but it is a one time setup so it is bearable. I'll rate it 9/10

Can not calculate the price

Does a VPN effect your service provider? Do your have to cancel you current provider? Do you have to delete your current anti-virus? How does it effect your internet browsing? Do you have to configure your vpn every time you browse? Do you have to open the vpn and select a setting before you go on the internet? Right now I just hit the Chrome button and surf the net, can I still do that, or do I have to select a server through the vpn. I hope these questions are not dumb, but I know absolutely nothing about VPNs.

Surf Shark is for me the best VPN. For that I have thrown 12 months Kaspersky Antivir VPN and balances in the trash. I can run Surf Shark on different platforms, even simultaneously. In addition, the product of update to update gets better! Thanks for the video and stay healthy!

Thanks for this video! I am a total newbie to VPN, so I am wondering how to get around this---I can get to the various websites, but in order to play a TV show or movie, it is asking me to log in. Isn't that what VPN is supposed to bypass? What is the workaround? One more question---should I configure my ISP's router (if compatible) with this VPN. I signed up for the longest term offered, so want to set up the way it should be done. Thanks so much. Judy

Hi ProGaming PvP, thanks for the support. :) What device do you tend to use the most? Looking at your name, I'm guessing you'd be looking for an option that wouldn't affect your system's resources? If so, I'd recommend checking our video about "Antivirus for gaming PC." Otherwise, in general, I'd say my top two would be: Norton 360 for a feature-rich option and one of the most extensive suites against a whole host of online threats. Alternatively, Bitdefender is another solid option. It also adapts to your system hardware specifications nicely. We have a comparison video if you're looking for specific answers. :)

Slow internet speeds on firestick

There are so many problems with this service. it drops with out notice usually during some seriously internet searching. Is this the best service out there? One that does not open you up to being super vulnerable. This video is clearly a promo video.

Hi. Great simple video. I have followed your instructions but still seem to be having my content blocked due to location. I am in Botswana currently and live in the uk. I have been trying to watch live content with my media subscriber. I have set my vpn to uk - London, surely this should make the media company think I am in the uk? Thanks for this. Surfshark support says the following about blocking this platform's ads: "Cleanweb is a feature that blocks malicious ads and malicious websites. With this feature enabled, your browser will show fewer ads and fewer trackers will work. That being said, as (YT) isn't a malicious site, only the malicious ads will be blocked on it" Any ideas? I was so excited to hear that all the ads here could be blocked.

So I installed SS to get my bank's app that is available in Australia, and when I try to download from Playstore I get "Not available in your country' so PS is not fooled by the vpn. (So I cancelled).

Ok. I think I heard you say the Geo-Spoofing feature doesn’t work on Apple devices. Did I hear this correctly! I’m a NY Giants fan living in South Carolina. My purpose for getting this would be to change my location to the New York/New Jersey metro area to watch all of the games. The alternative is DirecTV bleeding me $293 every year for NFL Sunday Ticket! Geez

Yes, Geo-Spoofing works only on Android devices. 😔 However, depending on the streaming service that you would use, it might not be necessary to use it and a basic VPN connection would be enough. In addition, if you would contact Surfshark customer support, they'll be able to tell you if it's possible to reach the specific streaming service with Surfshark VPN. 🙌

Can anyone out there tell me if I can choose ( for Netflix ) the UK and Canada ( or any two locations ) and bounce back and fourth between the two -- or can I only use one at a time. Hi I downloaded Surfshark this week and when I’ve been trying to play my shows in Netflix from colombia, it doesn’t work. It keeps showing preview unavailable and would not let me play anything. I tried disconnect and connect again, turn off the phone and nothing. Im scared it made me loose my money. And is making my internet super slow and when I change of country it doesn’t update the country that I went back to 😫😫😫

Have you tried contacting their customer support? I'm sure they should be able to resolve any issues you might have like that! Surfshark's support is super friendly and helpful, therefore, I would recommend contacting them to resolve your issues as soon as possible

I have surfshark on my firestick and my phone but I can't download it on my laptop, what the hell am I not doing right? I disabled the firewall, tried to add a vpn but don't know what a server is. I can't even open the page to download it on my lappy, any idea's please? TIA

This can be caused by multiple factors, however at first I would suggest to check if there are any apps that could interfere with the VPN connection (for example any other VPN or antivirus services). 🤔

Hi, have you tried clearing cache and switching servers?

I'm 60 and i have to say that technology is getting to be too complicated for me. This seems like another language. I was told I should consider a VPN but I have no clue what most of these settings are.

Surfshark doesn't hide my Gateway or my DNS why is that.

This means your DNS addresses are leaking. In this case, the easiest solution would be to try changing the connection protocol inside the Surfshark app and check if there are any apps that could interfere with the VPN connection (Antivirus or other VPNs). If that would not help, I would recommend contacting their customer support as I'm sure they'll help you fix this! 😊

Surfshark seems though its becoming more and more popular lately. I think it's great but just a hypothetical question - or several. At what point does our government get to where they crack it? At what point do big data miners like Google get pissed enough that they use influence to get our government to severely regulate its uses because they're upset that they're not getting enough access to our data? At what point does our government prohibit the sale, use, or mere possession of this on the average end users hardware because they deem it some kind of rediculous threat to our national security? We're the government, we know what's best for you and oh BTW, you have to get rid of this and don't let us catch you with this on your system. I guess in the end I'd want to know exactly to what extent this prevents big tech from tracking/tracing us - which apparently this looks pretty impressive but what about big brother government? To what extent does a VPN like this slow them down?

How much is a pay you to do this? This is an expensive and the horrible service company. I use only three day, but I have to pay for a year. And no refund at all. If you are not traveling all over the world all the time ,please don’t sign in.
