Thank you for putting this post Pradeep Sir. Your teachings have become a turning point for me. Could you mind clearing one doubt i have in the Momentum burst method? I am learning to trade in the Indian market. Question - Most of the stocks are already 6-8% up by the time the 2nd criteria i.e volume is greater than previous day volume met. So can I enter (considering it meets all other criteria) even if it's 6-8% up or should I wait for some kind of pull back to 4% & then enter (I am afraid that voids one of criteria i.e. Close should be the high or near the high)

Where do you put a stop if you enter an EP at the open?

Very true sir.. one of the problem with my stops is some years into trading i am still confused whether to put stops in system or do it manually..if i keep it in system, intraday many times there is reversals and u have wicks @ crucial levels.. if u wait for the close., then u incur a bigger loss than what u planned.. how to tackle this sir..

I am also facing they same problem. I usually take decision to sell at the end half an hour if stop hits.

do you prefer investing in stocks for the purpose of making long term gains along side trading or we should only focus on the area where one may get the most profit/gains generally which its trading because we are constantly active on that activity . what are your thought on doing investing and trading at the same time . by the way really appreciate your video they address real challenges and problems in my financial journey 👌

Stops are not problem for making a profit. Main obstacle is that there are no tradeable setups that have high probability of a win. Those momentum breakout setups are very rare, and often turn into a false breakout.
