This channel is a breath of fresh air! No overlong intros, no goofy clickbait thumbnails, no overproduced personality-based Peter McKinnon razzle-dazzle, there aren't jump cuts every three seconds, no gimbals or sliders, and no RGB lit walls. Just a sober guy who knows his shit and gets straight into useful information. I don't use DaVinci Resolve and this was an instant subscribe.

the scopes are really important in the grade. The more you get used to them, the quicker you can balance your shots. Good to hear your work is improving. Mine too!

So it's been 7 years that I have been using resolve for grading but I've never bothered checking out the new stuff inside of it despite the constant updates. Your videos made me want to fiddle more of these tools in Resolve. It's almost hidden sometimes. Thank you so much!

SO helpful man thank you! So much information about this that I really wanted and needed to hear and know. Coming from a photo background I am master with histograms but clueless with this so really clicked together and set up my Resolve Studio accordingly. Thanks again!

I go back to video post production in the Analog tape days. When we lined up one inch tape machines to color bars and tone, using waveform and vector scope monitors and TBC's. (Time Base Corrector) This was very helpful in refreshing the concepts. 👍

Hello Keith. Very good to hear from you again. If you have on a separate you could even go 9 scopes - separate the Vectorscope into low mid and high values is really useful.
