how to use powerbait Video. I made a quick fishing tutorial video on : How to Catch Trout with powerbait or pautzke firebait. In this video, I go over bait, gear, fishing rig, and techniques to catch trout. I explained the concept of slow rolling trout dough in order to entice a strike.
I hope you enjoy the video

Now you just need to learn to shape it correctly and you will catch trout like a real "put & take" pro: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Zot1mKOyd6_ceco.html Video is in danish, but this is something everyone fishing bait should know. Make it flash with contrasting colors and spin.

That technique also works with a full water bobber. It slowly sinks through water column. Used to use it all the time when I lived in trout country and didn't want to sit and wait. Also trolling a little ball of dough works.

Great video🎣 around my city, Campobasso, Italy, it's full of little lakes where you pay and catch trouts. I usually follow a tecnique very similar to yours, it slightly varies in speed, mine is a little quicker, and as lure I use Berkley powerbait, molded with my new Berkley mold, to make the shape of an honeyworm, and usually put a real honeyworm hanging on the tip of the hook. The important factor to hook these is to get the lure to SPIN... if the lure doesn't spin when moving it they don't bite

When you move the bait you evoke a natural response from the fish; a triggered response to eat the bait. It's not a trail of smell that causes the trout to bit, the smell of the bait you use is everywhere by now, from you, the fishermen in the boat, etc...he knows where the food is and might not even be hungry, but strikes when you move the bait. Like a cat snaps at a toy when its moved quickly!

Catching trout on dough is all about the flavor. Stocked trout either eat it up or they don't eat it at all.

Way too complicated. All you need is bb sinkers and adjust your depth to the current and water column Trout Reside in. For a lake this might be worth a shot but for streams not a chance. Use a #8 or #10 Baitholder hook. That way you can toggle back and forth between, dough, eggs or worms. Keep it simple, trust me, I've guided for years
