#3 look for three positives for ever negative. I didnt realize how much i do this in my own life. My wife just told me today that sometimes she thinks my positve thinking is just woo-woo. I know realize that its my default programming. Also #4, how often do we slow down and appreciate the good; the postive things that cultivate in our lifes? Im definitely going to sit with this more when they come around and ask my clients to do the same. Im super grateful i found your page and cant wait to deep dive into your new content. Thank you

Thanks Ajit I do appreciate it. I recently attended a workshop on positive pyschology. This videos shed light on its use in coaching
The forgiveness exercise is spot on Ajit and cannot be emphasized enough...so many times this is overlooked and can constitute a big obstacle in a client's life they may not even be aware of. I also like the ideal self exercise, just 3 days ago I coached my first client and I used that technique without realizing is is part of positive psychology. It had a really profound effect I could see the client face light up as she was describing her ideal self. I even helped her schedule time for herself as she was having problem doing that before, So I said just like you schedule time for your client, you are scheduling this time not for you but for your ideal self to allow her to do what she would normally...She loved the idea :-) I predict this video will reach over a million views before the end of the year, Thanks

Ajit thank you for all the videos, most of this stuff I’m already doing just from my nature, putting words and sentences to it all makes it all a little academic in my point of view, I guess i learn from doing rather than listening, just my two cents worth 🙏🏻

Thank you for sharing amazing content :) I'm now just wondering are there any other examples of the butterfly positivity one.. Hmm let me rephrase this, Are there any other examples I could use to show that what we focus on we start to notice?
@mindvalleycoach
2 жыл бұрын
There's no better example than experiencing it yourself, Gary! Test it yourself or invite your clients to try it. It could be spotting a green car, watching an airplane in the sky, getting good news at work or home... choose something ordinary but unusual, and test it out. We hope this helps! Thanks for sharing ❤

@@mindvalleycoach thanks for sharing them!! I got one too it came to me through a book called ‘Who moved my cheese’ And at the end, he mentions his belief of each reader naturally extracts what is important to him and her... This is parallel! What's important to us shows up in the book, what's not we skim over like it wasn't ever be there! Beautiful! So in context, what were focusing on day to day will pop out to us especially while reading a book

@@garycoachclinton That's a fantastic example, Gary! It's also the reason why you can read a book multiple times and always find something new, based on what the mind actively looks for each time. Love that. Thanks for sharing ❤

Thanks for sharing. What's your fav technique to calm your mind when things go out of hand? ❤️ Yan
@mindvalleycoach
2 жыл бұрын
Great question, Yan! My favorite technique is going for a walk while listening to my favorite music. But there are so many other great ways to calm down and get grounded such as meditation, breathwork, exercise... You have to find whatever works best for you! In this video, we talk about how to regulate emotions and get grounded: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lJ5tlsxyndzNd9o.html. Thanks for sharing ❤
