Hi, big thanks for your introduction, I’m hiring the 0.8 tonne, Kubota in July this year, for an L shaped patio, for a re-lay, my patio is like a ski slope right now, and needs to be flat……happy digging. Alex.

I rented one of these during lockdown. They just left in inside my gate and vanished 😂. I had to figure it out myself. It took a couple of hours to get the hang of it but it took a day plus to operate it nice and smoothly. It would take very little to knock up a simulator that connected to a laptop they could give you a couple of days before the machine arrived. It would save a lot of time and money.

That demonstration was gold. I'm gaining more confidence to start the extension. Many thanks!

the red lever stops the cab from being able to swing to secure transport and the lever at the bottom makes the tracks extract and retract :)

Sorry about the sound quality Damaja - I need to grab myself a mic! At 1min 55secs I show the control for the blade - it's the gear stick on the far right of the cab that lifts it up and down.

You lay the arm down, then you essentially "hook" the bucket on. Really good point though, if I hire another digger at any point I'll do a video to show this! Thank you!

What are the rental costs of this like per day?

Do you need any license etc. to be able to hire one?

They didn't ask for one here where I live in England - and I only have a car license. Might be worth checking if you need to be over 18 or 21, etc
