I'm African American and the onion juice works for me, I'm still using it because I'm afraid to stop at this point 😅💀. I use onion, garlic and a tiny, tiny bit of cayenne pepper. I blend it all in a blender with a small amount of water, then I strain it and pour it into a small applicator bottle and apply it to my scalp and hair, rub my scalp really well, cover my hair with a plastic cap and leave it on for 3-24hrs depending on how lazy I am.....wash out 2x with shampoo, conditioner etc... The end.

OK, I watched the full video. I haven't used any DIYs yet; but I purchased aloe vera leaves, cactus leaves onions, cloves, turmeric, Fenugreek, moringa powder, white rice, black rice, dried Rosemary leaves and carrots. My hair is about 7 inches max, discolorated (plum dye turned orange), graying with a 30 y.o. white patch from my twenties. It's extremely soft & curly. Curl patterns are tight; yet wavy. I think it's low porosity because it floated during the test. What would you recommend for me? (Oh, psoriasis flares sometimes from old beautician putting a super on my Wave Nouveau after I told her DON'T!@ I've never gone to another one, over 25 years ago. I went totally natural and cut out my home perm over time. Anyway, I love how you have All the Helpful Little Tips -- like not holding your hair too tightly and massage it into the scalp. Afterwards, do you wash it or condition it out? If so, do you use DIY shampoos or conditioners or you're brand specific? Your advice would be greatly appreciated and promoted in my home. Grandson -- 11 y.o. -- 1 1/2 min natural hair growth with 'old school Queen Bergamot or Petroleum Jelly etc. Thick luscious waves when I take down his braids. Mom -- 70 plus-- silver/white/black hair. Going natural, extremely soft & thin hair. Daughter #1 --- Dyed dreads, growing moderately with minimal manipulation. Daughter #2. --- Thick, 1 foot of growth min. Zero maintenance -- generally covered with wigs or twist styles with braided to the scalp styles. Usually has a massive amount of dandruff flakes that gets matted and sheds easily. Nephew -- 28 y.o -- balding in the top but had 1 - 2 feet of braids of child until he asked his parents to cut it. Naturally wavy hair too, just scarce. So yes. I will be treating all those people, eventually and your guidance would be monumental & I will keep you posted as to how each one worked. Me -- my description is above; but I will be going 1st this time. I need them to trust my choices and see my results even though their regimen might be very different.

Your hair can and will grow!☺️ texture has nothing to do with retention..if you can retain your monthly hair growth, you’ll get and keep length. Remember , health inside = healthy outside. Stay hydrated too. Good luck and listen to what your hair likes. Natural hair isn’t 1 size fits all..it’s what YOUR hair loves and responds to..good luck growing that hair girl💕

Damn. Black people, we are creative and talented. This is just beautiful. I know this long hair was not achieved just through onion oil and decotion. I wonder what her shampoo and conditioner is. And with this onion stuff, I wonder if it will work on all hair types because we all have different hair types. She found what works for her.

@Surtsey TT hey, even though genetics play a part, there are plenty of women that believed their hair count grow for years before they started using more natural products and building a hair routine that works for them. Do let the genetics argument get in the way of your potential🙏🏾

@@dancingmango143 I totally agree with this! Alot of our elders simply never maximized their hair growth potential because of mack.of knowledge unfortunately. Dont let that discourage you by thinking "nobody in my family has long hair so I can't grow long hair "
