My daughter is disabled and cannot use a crochet hook or knitting needles due to fine motor difficulties, but loves working with this yarn. She feels good about herself because she can actually been able to make numerous scarves and blankets. She does not find it tedious at all!

I was confused as some of the other posters here until I watched the video. I found a simple pillow pattern, which is nothing more than two squares, looks cushy and soft, delightful. I have also thought, what a nice bath rug this would make. The yarn itself is on sale now which would make it more affordable. Looks fun and fast to work. I think kids would love it.

I am a crocheter from the age of 7( almost 52 now) self-taught knitter, tatting, embroidery, plus many other means of artistry. I got 4 skeins/balls of this as a gift and made a wonderful baby blanket out of it for my grandson. Would I pay 10 bucks a skein/ball? Heck no, but he loves the feel of it, and is holding up quite well. Just figured I'd give some input from someone who actually has tried/made something with it.

I bought a few of these in crayons colors, $3.00 a skein at JoAnns, for my little grandkids. They love them and now they are learning to finger knit and loom knit. The soft, fluffy & colorful loops have made it fun for them and ignited a desire to learn how to make more useful things without the loops, but working with the loops showed them they could do it!

Well, I do not knit very good (slowest speed) so this made a hat with 1 ball in 30 minutes. Looks just like a knitted hat and feels soft and warm too! Every craft has some type of draw back, but have fun and make something! Use new materials ( Waite for sales, clearance, use cuponds) I crochet, weave, tat, cross stitch too!

Nice to know snarkiness still lives on in the yarn arts community, as demonstrated by the incredibly snobbish comments posted here. If it requires watching a VIDEO and using TOOLS at the same time, you can't do it. Sorry about the rant, but whatever became of pride in achieving something difficult?

Or just MAYBE if you have a very young granddaughter who loves to craft with her Mom Mom, this could be a nice way to do so. My granddaughter, who is 4, pretends to crochet with my hooks. She's much too young to understand, but I will teach her when she is a tad older. In the meantime, I could see her being able to do this with a little help and it would be a basis for learning more later. I think she would be thrilled to complete a project like a pillow or something and know that she created it. You have to think outside the box a bit and realize that not every product is for you or others like you.
