Man-marking is a cheat code when your opponent is using only one CF and two wingers. You can man-mark his CF with a CB. For example, if they have Mbappe as the CF, you can use Saliba (nominating with more speed) to man-mark him. If the CF is slow, then use another CB with good physical contact, like Van Dijk. For his primary winger, the one who crosses the most, you can mark him with an LB/RB. Trust me, I went from DIV4 to DIV2 just today without losing a single match (although I drew a few).

This is why there is counter target instruction If you man mark a winger or CF who is set as a counter target especially very fast ones, your fullback/defender would be unable to stop him eventually because they would be in such positions that you could be undone by even simple clearance from opponent's box

Counter target doesn't stop a deep lying forward from dropping deep.... The player just doesn't help in defense... Ive noticed

It makes the player position himself for counters When you're on the break, he's ready to make runs that will beat the defense.. infact he won't be offside It also stops the player from pressing because of the need to conserve energy for counter runs

Alex and for you guys the the little tip which works well from me from the moment this instructions are updated to mobile is to put defensive on your attacking full back and deep line on your dmf it helps big time against kick off glichers and through ball spammers cause the dmf for example Rice covers the space between two cb-s and basically you get 5 at the back when defending
