Kevin, as soon as the Room is created for future date, do the invitees need to accept the invite or just wait to join in at that set date? This was not mentioned in your talk, or did I miss that?

There is no “create a room” where yours was located. I have updated my app and still no option. Using an iPhone 7

Please, I have a question related to the sharing option, I tried it on messenger and whenever I start to end the sharing option the participants log out and then in automatically which bothers them a lot! Yes you can use Rooms for Groups, in fact it is the only way now (they have removed Facebook Live). A great feature but not great because you cannot record and allow others who could not make the Room at the scheduled time see the recording. Crazy they have not included this feature.

Is this available all over the world? Cause on my phone create room does not exists... thanks to your reply... anyways nice video.. hope it will be also available on our location so we could enjoy the same feature facebook offers.

Hello Kevin, I am just trying to use Facebook Rooms for the first time and although your video was great, unfortunately I think it is now outdated as it is totally different now. Lots of the features have changed, not sure when this happened. Any chance of creating a new video as I find the instructions that are around right now are all old so have no clue what to do. for the first thing the following is what is shown on the first screen in your example mine shows (2nd example) as you can see already I am confused. LOL I am an older person so not as tech savvy as the younger generation so need examples to follow in order to learn. So I sure hope you would consider doing a new video for us oldies. Thanks so much. Or maybe I do not have the correct version, although I did check for this and it seems I have got the latest update??

Once you copy the link, you can send the copied URL to anyone. What type of error do you see?

thank you for explaining this topic clearly. i was invited to a room. it said the attachment unavailable. i clicked on the link, it opened into a new window with the message that the room is unavailable. is there something i need to do or is it something the inviter has to do?

Can you record your meeting on Messenger room? Also can you make participants to not be able to speak just listen?

Sorry my examples of snips did not show on my last message as my example. Basically the Create room screen has changed in yours it shows Room Activity, Whose Invited, Start time and in mine it shows Room Name, Start Time & Visible to all friends ( which I have left off) then at the bottom CREATE ROOM there is no option anymore to save on the next screen to invite people it goes straight to chose friends and INVITE. It is just very different. Hope this makes sense to you? I a sure you are very busy so no problem if you do not have time.

It’s got a feature to share your screen but I’m not sure how it would look when you are presenting to more than 10 people

Not seeing the same controls at the bottom of the room on the iPhone. No mute mic available.

I have a problem why is my account is not showing the create a room while the other accounts that i log in the same device has it already my app is updated i think theres a problem in my account

Is there no option to save the room session video and audio??

When it shows other people on the top of the feed, does that mean they're online? Where it says "say hi." Also, is there a way to deactivate this, I couldn't find it? Thank you.

I heard you say you could have a room open and anyone could come in it but i didn't see you say how to do that. I know how to invite someone and close room or end it. i know about the filters effects etc. Just don't know how to keep the room open and somehow get a notification when someone comes in it if i'm not in it at the time.

It is fine for multiple people to talk and meet. But lacks features like icons for raising hands, thumbs up and down, away icon etc.

Hi, I am trying to use Messenger rooms, now the special effects, will that work on the computer? Like the face masks, and such like messenger does on the tablets and phone?

Thanks for you fine video. I’m on an old iPad with iOS 9.3.5. In Mssenger I created a room invited 3 people then scheduled it for 1 hour from now then Save. I immediately went back in to room ‘Who’s Invited’ and it’s blank. Why? Did my scheduled room not setup correctly? I go into ‘Edit Room’ and the ‘Schedule for later’ switch is off. Why is this? Note, separate to the above, I created room and invited 3 people Now and they all got the invitation OK.

The thing I'm looking for is time limits for sessions?

Hi Kevin, is there a way for users to pin a screen? I’m thinking about using this for a ceremony and it would be good to be able to set a focal view.
