I don’t know yet if it’s possible to connect the device for Recording wireless using BT. The BT features on the sound card is to connect background music wireless by BT. I have tried before connecting lightning to usb c directly to maonolite and to iPhone - it did not work.

Yes. You just need an adapter. It’s not as loud as the bm800 condenser mic.

Yes just connect another device from Pod1, 2 or 3 output. Please note this will work for solo streaming. Not sure yet for group streaming.

@@jenuds Please forgive me as I am a beginner..but what do you mean by group streaming? If I stream on TikTok and Instagram from Pod1 & 2 just by myself, I presume that's solo streaming? Oh and does it work with wireless mic? I just got a comica vimo C wireless mic. Thank you so much!

If you meant using only 1 device for streaming, you can use Starmaker or Smule. For Recording purposes, I always use the built in camera of my phone then upload it. Have you tried that?

If you set to higher video resolution then expect higher storage consumption. If you can upload it right away then delete right after, there shouldn’t have a problem.

I used the plug or block for our iPad and tablet and they work. Yes you can charge while using it. I am not sure if that’s what you meant.

I just bought this for podcast or livestream purpose. So the monitoring earphone should not go to the "headphone symbol" ? I tried recorded something on iPhone this morning but not sure why the sound effects are not recorded... will try again tonight

If your earphone has built in mic I don’t recommend connecting it thru the headphone port as it will pick up the mic from the earphone.

@@jenuds I have intermittent issue. Haha .. sometimes I get to record the sound and sometimes not. Yes... it does pick up the sound from the microphone on the phone... strange. But now I solved the issue permanently now. I connect my music source via Bluetooth and now I can record everything on my phone. Unsure why this works though.

Hello, it doesn't work on TikTok Live. I tried with a laptop and also my phone like you showed it. With called and also by bluetooth. There is no music to here for the people and also the sound buttons. Can you help me?

I used it with tiktok live using a phone and it worked. I have not tried using laptop yet for tiktok live. Most likely it’s adapter issue. I got both lightning to 3.5mm and usb c to 3.5mm adapter are from the Apple Store.

What video editing software are you using?

Most likely you are right. Common issue for iPhone users is the lightning adapter. If your using the headphone adapter only, you can hear but will not work for Recording. I bought my adapter from apple store.

Then you will need a lightning adapter that supports calling and not only as headphone adapter. If you have the lightning headphone adapter you can only hear, but it will not work for Recording or Streaming

I presumed you need a USB C adapter. If you use the tablet for streaming- adapter should supports calling otherwise you will only hear but it will not pick up your voice for recording or streaming. Now of you use the tablet as background music, any usb c adapter should be ok.

You’re supposed to connect a separate mic to the sound card. Have you tried connecting the TRRS (with 3 lines on both ends) from live port of maono to the headphone port of your iPhone? Try recording or streaming in this way.

Cables or adapters used could be the issue.

does the loopback allow you to hear the Tiktok audio? For example to duet people or when people battle you live you can hear their audio directly into the headphones

The use of loopback is when Maonocaster lite is connected to the computer where you are streaming and at the same time music is from the same laptop. When loopback is ON music you are playing is being heard on your streaming but when loopback is OFF, music you’re playing will not be heard on your streaming and you’re the only one who can hear it.

I have andriod version 9.. I tried to record with V8 on tiktok it didn't record... Please where is the problem coming from... Thank you for the videos

Very common issue is the adapter is your live streaming from an iPhone or android. Even if you follow everything but not have the right adapter, it’s not gonna work. It seems that it’s not connected at all. I suspect the issue is in the lightning adapter. You have to use the one from Apple Store or adapter that supports calling otherwise it’s only for headphone adapter for you to listen but won’t record or stream.

I see . Then adapter should not be the issue coz it’s the original one. Try removing your phone case if your using one then try to live streaming. Did you make sure side was off? You can try using a different TRRS cable.

@@jenuds android po gamit ko mam. During live streaming naririnig ko naman po ung backgroud music nung pinanood ko pero pag video recording lang, after ko magrecord po boses ko lng naririnig ko. Wala pong background music or effect

Makabili po kaya kayo ng USB C to 3.5 mm adapter from apple store? Kasi yon po ang gamit ko. Dpo kasi to same ng maono E2 na pwede yong usb c to usb c directly connected sa android then maono e2- gumagana pero dpo gagana for maono lite version. I purchased one for fun. This little system is great for pre-record your videos, BUT not going live. Warning! Your music input will not work while live streaming (the sound/music) is faded, like far away; I can't hear it. Live streaming is just for mic, no sound pre installed effects work while live streaming nor does the music input (regardless if it is connected by Bluetooth or 3.55) This was tested on my ticktok live stream. Good for pre-record videos only.

Have you tried Facebook or you tube streaming? Coz it works for me. This is my theory on tiktok since I’m not yet qualified to go live stream yet, based on this video, if I was able to record through Tiktok- audio video should be the same on streaming.

@Jenuds stuffs I do appreciate your response. I have an account on tiktok with over 100k followers. I only use it for fun. Last night, I tried to live streaming using the maono caster. Everything worked except sound effects (clapping, cheering, etc...) and the music input. No one could hear the music or the sound effects. The microphone worked perfectly. So this makes me believe it's a ticktok issue. That's my guess.

That could be right. As I said I can’t do a test on Tiktok live stream.. Just curious, are doing your streaming on Tiktok from a laptop and your background music from the same laptop? If yes, you perhaps forgotto turn on the loop back feature.

Last night, I tried with my galaxy cell phone for the tiktok app/hd camera. My secondary phone I connected (I tried both Bluetooth and 3.55 input) to the music port. I can hear everything just fine with my headphones. It sounded good! But my audience could not hear the music, nor any of the sound effects; even though I could through my headphones. It is depressing me. I only perform for tiktok. Also, Tiktok will not allow you to stream directly from your PC or laptop without a stream key. Tiktok has a live studio app they only allow specific users (mostly gamers) to use. I have complained today (sent an email to tiktoks legal department about my "maono caster" problem. I doubt they will help. At any rate, if you can figure out how to do it (use all the futures) through tiktok, I would be in debt to you. I can try using my laptop as the source of music instead of a cell phone? I don't think it will matter. I keep at it.

Most likely the issue is the adapter. Most of the adapter you can buy elsewhere are only as headphone adapter which you can hear but it will not work for Recording or Streaming. Some might work but not as good. I bought mine from Apple Store.

@@jenuds the problem with the apple store adapter is that have only one plug, i need to keep the phone charging because video streaming platform eat the phone battery in no time. im changing my phone to another device with headphone plug instead. Apple its became a headache and expensive one. i will rent a phone based on android and will let you know.

Hi! I tried to stream via instagram live with background music and it worked, but when I invited a follower to talk with me the background could not be heared by the person who was invited nor the audience...what can I do? Anybody else has the same problem? Thank you!!!!!

So far I have not yet tried group Live on this set up. This set up is for sure for solo streaming set up. For now if you live stream using a laptop you have to turn on loopback for your audience to hear the music you’re playing. If you’re streaming using a phone, it shouldn’t matter if it’s on or off.

Most likely what you’re hearing is from the built in mic of your phone. That happens if you’re not using the right adapter. I got my adapter from the apple store.

@@jenuds ano ho. Ung pre recording sa tiktok at Live magkaiba ho sya. Mostly kapag nag record ka sa tiktok tapos pinost mo po. Ok yung sounds pati mga effects ng mic. But when you go live. Nawawala po lahat ng effects. Im planning to buy this maono pero worried ako na kapareho lang sya ng tunog sa gingamit kong souncard. Sa pre recorded ok ang sounds but when i rewatch my live after my livestreaming. Naku po parang ewan na ung tunog ehehe.. much better po if ma try sya sa live mismo ng tiktok. If si tiktok ang problem tlga.

@@jenuds yes po if you record sa tiktok then post it sa wall mo. Ung sound at effects mismo ng sound card ang lalabas na tunog po which is good like in this video, but when it comes to live parang nagiging distorted na ung sounds then nawawala na ung echo mo sa mic, huminiha ng instrumental and many more. Thats why i want to confirm po muna sana bago ako bumili netong soundcard kung ok sya when it comes to live in tiktok, but the sadly part is hindi pa nga ho pala kayo pwede mag live due to lack of follower . Pero sana soon hehe.
