Just bought one of these. Useful to know you have to stop it with the button! Sorry if I'm being dense, but do you have to heat up the water first in the machine and then put in the pod? Thanks.

The machine heats up when plugged in and turned on. So afetr pod inserted it quite quick to pour out a coffee.

You can stop the machine if you want a Short Black or if you want let the machine run it will stop automatically & make a larger cup.

The capsule drops straight thru when inserted, before bringing the arm down

Maybe the arm isnt fully up?

Can you fill up with water with the jug docked or do you need to remove, fill up then dock?

Yeah, you can fill it up from a jug. It’s probably easier to do.

My machine stops after a short time so it only makes a small coffee. I would prefer it to keep going until I pressed the button. Is this a fault with my machine?

No it’s just the shot of coffee . Add hot milk first or use two pods

Do I need to add sugar and does it do cappuccinos?

This unit just does the coffee ☕️ shot. You would need frothed milk and sweetener to be added separately.

Just received my jolie lavazza today. I used a mug to make my coffee but the machine stopped dispensing coffee when mug was half full. I pressed the button again and the coffee started dispensing but at a reduced flow and stopped when mug was about 3/4 so had to press the white lit button once again to get my full mug of coffee. Is this normal?

It is really you have to sort of choose on mug that works best with that machine

Yes u can at least in my country there asre at least 8 coffee company that provides capsules for Lavazza machines

@@mgtracey I think they mean that the machine just keeps on going and going beyond the volume of an espresso (just to be clear I know you covered this in the vid)

I had the same issue. Plug machine in and press small circular “0” button not large circular button, when it’s finished flashing and a solid circle of light appears -press small button again -obviously use the espresso pods for same, not the lungo pods. Hope this works for you! ☕️👍🏻

I have the opposite problem. Mine only makes an espresso.

Just sent one of these to my Dad and he says there is a yellow button around by the water tank. I have looked on various sites but I cannot see anything relating to this button. Any thoughts? Is it for descaling? Thanks

Could be a thermal cut off reset switch tho I don't see it on the jolie I have.

It is probable that the water tank is not docked correctly. It take a bit more oomph that one would imagine.
