Hi Peter, love your videos & tutorials. 👍 Allow me one comment on this one here: I see Google Chat evolve more into sth like replacing email and giving people the opportunity to do project work & sharing knowledge in a central place. Now Google announcing Chat Rooms becoming Spaces soon, this will become even more of a new reality in my view. Therefore, I am not necessarily viewing Google Chat as a fast communications tool where you have to react immediately - it can be in certain cases, yes. But, I think it can be much more than that. Thanks for the video. I can’t add anyone to my chats. I have contacts in my Google contacts list but they don’t appear. When I type an email directly into the Google Chat invite the invite button does not activate. Can you help?
And also when I was pushed out of Hangouts into Google Chat I noticed the screen said that this conversation is private what does that mean I mean I didn't make it that way? How do I bring somebody in with me that was on Hangouts? So that they know I'm on Google Chat.
Google Chat is really unintuitive. I just want to video call with my buddy using my phone and I can't see any way to start a video call like you could in Hangouts.

If they are in a direct message, or a separate space (formerly called room) - They won’t be able to see each other’s messages

The little circle on Google Chat indicates the user's online status.
I found my employees are abusing the peer to peer chat. As administrator, is there a way to turn those off and only use the "spaces"?

Would like to get your thoughts on not being able to add external users to a Group Chat and being forced to use a Space for external users. I struggle to see any reason Google would allow free users this ability but not paid users. Do you have any insight into this? What do we lose / gain from that deliberate limitation?
