Hi Alexis Thank you so much for your quick response:) I haven't altered the text so it could possibly be the software update which I haven't installed as there were some negative comments for owners of the cameo 3 after installing the update. Please shed some light on this issue. Thank you 😊

Hi could I ask where did you purchase the Lucida Grande font from I've been trying to find it. I love your video you are so clear at explaining everything in detail I understand. X

Can I group fonts I use a lot to show up together in the font box on Silhouette. Also there are some that are in my computer that I never use but can't delete. Is there a way to delete them from the font box list so I don't see them?

Loved your video! I have a question, when you pressed weld on to the words is it an option only for business edition? Or is it a free feature?

Weld is available in the free version of the software. :)

great video Thank you so much :) i have a little problem on the basic edition, i cannot edit text by highlighting to sample the various fonts . i double-click or right click but cannot get the edit text option :( Please help a newbie in distress...lol

Oh no! So sorry to hear you are having trouble. The ability to edit text should definitely be available in the basic edition of the software, so I'm not sure what is happening there. One thought is if you have welded the text or modified it in some other way after typing it, then it has changed from a font to a shape, and you won't be able to change the font any longer. If, however, you have typed out a word, clicked off the word but haven't changed it in any other way, and then still can't get the edit text option, that is weird. I would also double check that you have the most recent edition of the software installed. Sometimes when I am having issues, updating my software can fix things. If none of that helps, then I would reach out to support at Silhouette, they have been really helpful for me in the past. Good luck!

I have the same problem of not being able to edit and it's really frustrating. It will like start a new text box

My letters won't weld. The scrip is broken up in different boxes and I don't know how to get them together to weld

Double clicking is not working nor is edit text showing up. Would you maybe know why I can’t edit the font on something ive already typed up.

I’m having trouble cutting fonts some letters cut good others won’t cut enough to weed out the HTV I don’t get it ahh
