If you download and open the file in Excel 2019 or 2016 or in a lower version, formulas using new functions wont' work.

Excel online (Web version) doesn't support VBA. Automation in web version is powered with Office Scripts and for the time being it is only available to users with Office 365 subscription. Programming in Excel online is supported by 'Office Scripts' instead of VBA. Moreover, you need to purchase the premium version to activate the Automate tab which contain the programming interface.

To work offline, you need to purchase Microsoft 365.
