Please be more descriptive in your YouYube titles. I tried to use the form just to find out that this only works in Elementor "Pro." You have a great program and not all of your users can afford the upgrade. Please be sure to inform us when you are discussing features that are specific to your Pro version.

This is a good tutorial. I think you should look towards adding an extra feature to your select or checkbox options that automatically adds a dynamic text field that shows up for instance when the user clicks on others out of a group of items. So they can write their option if their option isn’t currently available in the drop down. Cheers!🌟

You can't do that by default but it can be achieved by using JavaScript and a hidden field. Let me know if you need help with the code. It's fairly easy

@@rodrigomotier6170 No :( I wrote to Support and they told me that unfortunately, Elementor doesn't have features like that yet. At the end, I had to pay for another plugin, Wpforms, to make the form with that option.

@@Tarkovski100 if you know PHP and how to code Wordpress themes AND HTML AND CSS and a few other things... you THEN wouldn't need Elementor.

This is a very, VERY good tutorial and got me *almost* all of the way home. My issue might be kind of unique - I have a membership form to join our organization where I need to ask the applicants which of the 256 counties they operate within our state. At first I had a Select box with multiple allowed, but the list is just too long. So I changed it to a checkbox as an inline list. This is better but... it would be even better if it lined up all of the choices into nice, neat columns. Is there any way to do that?

i dont think they have ever announced anything about that but the best one I have found so far is the plugin Dynamic Content for Elementor. It's not free but you can create all kinds of conditions and dynamic emails depending on those conditions.

@@_charles yes. We are using it on our website and you can set conditions, for example, hide or show a field depending on another field's status or content. I have been using it for a few months now and so far, it works well

Hi Paul, there are several different ways you can do this. For example, you can save a form as a global widget, and insert it on any page. You can also create section with the form inside, save the section as a template, and insert that template on any page. No, I've used a lot of forms builder and this is the easiest one. If they put conditionals, it will disrupt the forms (expensive) market in Wordpress.

Elementor has the worst service. They only respond quickly if the original claim revolves around sales. I cant wait for a plugin to replace them.
