Hi, thanks for watching.. 1. Intensity and time , play with this, depends what you want to cut, higher intensity (255 max) and higher time (200 for ex) means more power and more time your laser will spend on every spot, also for cutting you have too use a G code (I use inkscape to make my designs and save them as dxf) then set it on "Continuous" and "Scan by Z-shaped". 2. I don`t think is a setting for that in Benbox (possible to be wrong ) I always set my dimensions straight on file or in benbox field (dragging the design).

The eleksmaker laser is designed to use grbl .9. Benbox was designed for grbl .8. We are now on grbl 1.1e. You give up a lot of functionality to use such an out dated software. Not to mention many copies of benbox have viruses. I would recommend you try lasergrbl or laserweb for free software or t2laser and lightburn for full featured paid software. All these softwares will use grbl 1.1e

hi I bought a laser etcher 500mw benbox they did not give me the software so I had to find the software for it and I did find it but the laser is not working. It worked for a few minutes to try and focus the beam but the adjuster now popped off so I put it back on with the spring. No harm no foul. but the laser will not turn on and the drivers that all the video say I need to have did not come with this software. The stepper motors work fine.It will do the pattern of the picture but it will not turn on the laser. Please help

Make sure you have the button on the laser head pressed that will stop the laser to fire, you have press it again just before you start your job and right after you finish press it again to stop it, that will prevent your laser to burn.

On the left side you can find some basic tools to draw a line, circle insert text and image, Will be better to use another software to make your designs (as ilustrator, coreldraw, gimp, inskape, etc ) and just import them on benbox , although to answer your question... simply select any tool you want click on the working area release the click and drag the line or circle or etc.

Hey...I have a problem with my EleksCam laser . It shows the preview of the print but when I give it for engraving it moves but it doesn't engrave anything. Can you please help me with this ?

Hi , maybe you laser module is in preview mode, you have to press the button on the top of the module ( is on when blue light ( for preview) will disappear.

You're welcome! Glad you got it working. You have to focus it verry well and use air asist ( see how im my other videos) but depends what thickness and hoaw many wats is your laser

For setting power laser to 100% which one must be setting?

@@ANAMYID for speed you can set up the speed : usually is use 1500 And time : which is how much time(in ms I think) the laser will fire on each dot. Usually I go for 45 but depends.

Simply follow the video instructions to install the software and depends what is for you slow, I use speed 1500 time 45 and intensity 45 and I engrave quite nice and quick on leather.

Try with com 1 and see if it's working if not, then is com 2

this is the OLD software. the new software is ELEKSMAKER CAM. the old software will not work with the new laser engravers. the old lasers engravers will NOT work with the new software.lol. look at the controller card on the machine. if it has 'MANA SE' on it it is a NEWER machine and benbox will NOT work. if the controller has 'L2' on it it is an OLDER card and should work with benbox but it will NOT work with ELEKSMAKER CAM or LASER GRBL.the laser will move but the laser will either stay on all the time or not fire at all.
