It looks like the blockage is understanding the concept of “complement” at least that was my struggle. All the excess words tend to make the concept difficult to understand until one understands what the complement means such as in “le gâteau de ma mère.” Thanks for this lesson. I’ve forgotten a lot of it! 👍🏽🙏🏼❤️

I think but I'm not sure, it's what make a sentence complete, the second part compliments the first part. Really not certain

@@amine_mohmdYour ordering explanation is correct, but I think your sentence structure is incorrect, as you didn’t follow the rule. In this case, “vous” (indirect object pronoun) would come first because of the ordering rule [Me, Te, Nous, and Vous direct or indirect object pronouns are always first]. Je vous [IOP placement due to ordering rule] le [DOP] donne. Answer: Je vous le donne. Or Je te le donne.
