I have tons of adhesive foil which i have not used and didn't know what to use it for. I watched your video and you have explained very well and made it look very easy for me to try these foils. Great project and very useful tips on using adhesive foil. I just ordered the Fall mystery box and it includes adhesive foil. I had never used this material before so now I feel prepared. Thanks to you, I also ordered the strong grip transfer tape to use with it.

The StrongGrip definitely makes a difference. I think most materials that require StrongGrip Transfer Tape come with a sheet but good plan having extra on hand.

This was super helpful more specifically knowing that the weeding tool won’t help much lol. Life saver!!!!

I am making wedding place cards with the rose gold foil and was struggling so much with it not sticking to the regular transfer tape at all! (All this time I had no idea there was a strong grip one.) This actually now worked perfectly! Thank you so much!

Great video 😁The Cricut adhesive foil is something I struggle with. The metallic foil especially. I have the Cricut explore air 2 and I have to do at least 3 passes in my machine to get a clean cut even when it’s set to adhesive foil 😔

Yes Ciara same here. I jus came to KZread to read reviews on Cricut Foil and I’ve tried more pressure. I hate wasting time lol the directions are on side but didn’t work for me either

Update: I have an Air2 and had to choose Cardstock setting and more pressure to cut Cricut adhesive foil.

Definitely wait 72 hours and then you can gently hand wash :)

Isn’t the green mat standard grip and the purple is strong grip correct me if I’m wrong?

Yes it can be used on mugs. To remove it I would soak it in water as that is not recommended with permanent vinyls :)

What about removing clear protective sheet before cutting ? This is what my package of glossy silver foil says but I can’t find the dam coating

That's sounds like iron on...Iron on has a plastic sheet.

I'm not sure. I haven't tried it yet. I would think if you cut something that could be used like a sticker that wouldn't require transfer tape it would work.

Should just leave those scraps on your fingernails for a new trend :)
