I loved watching this, Sue as I've not really used my gilding flakes too much yet. I would love to try the high/low technique but I don't have a perfect medium pad. Is there anything else I can use to stop the mask sticking to the sticky sheet? xx

Hi Sue! I just now used the cosmic shimmer flake and glitter glue along with the cosmic shimmer gilding flakes for the first time. I love the results! TFS how to use these items. I do not have either of the items you mentioned that you used to spread the glue and then the flakes. Is there anything else I can use besides my fingers? LOL seriously, I did use my fingers to spread the flakes around and I used a small piece of scrap card stock paper with which to spread the glue. TIA for your reply. 🐝🐝🐝

We would always recommend using the Creative Expressions Application Sponges as its the correct density of sponge and a great size. But you could always use any type of sponge to apply the glue and use a paint brush to move the flakes around your stamped image and buff with a kitchen towel. Thanks CE

Thank you so much for the wonderful video! I have absolutely fallen in love with how amazing the gilding flakes look. I would like to purchase some to use with my crafts, however I have a question that I hope someone could answer for me. Are the gilding flakes flammable? The reason why I ask, is that in a few months I will be immigrating and I am taking all of my arts and crafts products and items with me. However they are very strict with transport rules pertaining to flammable items and I would hate to spend money on something that I CANNOT take with me. Could someone please help me out here. Thank you so much.

I THOUGHT YOU COULDN'T DO ANYTHING NICER THEN BLACK BACKGROUND AND PENCILS WITH THAT BACKGROUND JUST RITE STAMP BUT YOU TOPPED IT AGAIN. LOOKS EVEN BETTER IN GOLD. GOING TO TRY THE HIGH LOW CARD. FABULOUS IDEAS.

Would a very fine sanding block work in the same way to burnish the flakes into the card?

That glue looks exactly like latex lash glue 😅
