Man, telling us the same angle like when we use a fork truly helped a lot! I’ve been struggling this whole time, got the hand technique down, but hands hurt like hell trying to eat, changing the angle I actually got to finish a meal without swapping back to a fork 😂

small thing: if this is too hard for you, it’s also fine if you pinch the top one like he does, but then add your middle finger right below it to stabilize. like the chopstick is passing through the center of the triangle you’re making with your fingers. then, your other two fingers are under the other chopstick to keep if in place. the bottom chopstick will not move, so you don’t really need to grip it, only keep it in place. In the end, it’s basically the same, except you’re moving the placement of your finger up one. instead of your middle, ring, and pinkie stacking on top of each other, only your ring and pinkie are stacking, because your middle is helping stabilize your index. for me, this gives me finer control and more force without the chopsticks slipping

I wish I could give you.more than one like. Chop sticks are one of the most versatile utensils in the kitchen and dining room, imo. I'm 66 and was told to hold them like a pencil. It did not work, so nice been using the stab and eat method. You stab food like a knife. Ha. Thank you so much.

Ashamed to say I never tried chopsticks until now despite loving Chinese/Korean food. I received some as a freebie with my order. Decided to give it a go. Found this very helpful video. Tried it myself. And found it surprisingly easy to use the chopsticks! Why didn’t I try this sooner 😅. Everyone I know always say to me they are hard to use. Not the case for me. The video helped with the correct way to hold them! Very simple and easy to follow. Thank you! P.S will be using chopsticks more often from now on!

I'm at work and my girlfriend prepared a salmon fillet, sauteed spinach and some black beans. I work the 3rd shift. There are no forks in the HVAC shop but for some reason there is a pack of new chopsticks. I watched this video 1 time and it worked immediately. Thank you so much for this helpful video. Actually, watch how to use chopstick videos done by Asians you'll find that his method, while it does work, is technically wrong, if you're a purist. If you're just looking to get some food in your mouth his way is fine, lol.

After watching bunch of kpop idols eating/mukbang compilation videos, it's so clear each person has different way/style of using/holding chopsticks. Either on ring finger or middle finger, and the way they hold it.. It varies. Because people have different Range, length and motoric responses of fingers.. Just find the most comfortable and functional way to ourselves Thank you for this video.. It helps so much as well

So simple, I mean so very very simple and I’m 58 years old and I have always avoided chopsticks because I guess the simplest things are the hardest sometimes especially when our mind over complicates themSuch as holding a pair of chopsticks I can’t believe how easy this is I am right now eating sushi with chopsticks first time in 58 years thank you! One less item on my bucket list

Bro. How did you accomplish the impossible in seconds? Even the short clips take the whole clip to explain how to use them. A bunch of blah blah blah. This guy got straight to the point. My food would’ve got cold watching those clowns.

I was just commenting to talk about how easy it actually is using the sticks in the way he instructed... only to be called out by the description because i am an home practicing with two graphite pens for when i eat sushi next week, you got me.
