I've had my x1 since 2022 and just discovered I have park assist 🤦🏾‍♀️🤣🤣 This was so helpful

Baiii Omule, Sa Traiti! :)) Took delivery of my G83 last week. I hate the reverse camera fisheye lens... maybe this video will make my life a bit easier.

I love this feature. Not to shit on MERCEDEZ BENZ but their auto park system requires the driver to move the shifter to D or R whenever it stops. With BMW you don’t have to. So much easier. That’s what we pay for in luxury car right? To do less but enjoy the car. Go BMW!

Can it parallel park on the left? I couldn't get it to work just for the right side only.

So what in understand is there has to be cars parked for it to function

What are the features using Park Assist? Which year model onwards have this feature? please let me know.. I viewed a BMW X1 1.5 xDrive25e M Sport in Cargiant

I tried it on a ix1 it was shockingly bad at parking. First time tried to reverse into a parked car, second time did ok but close to dumpster , third time was on the white line and had about 3ft of space behind it.

This is way better than the Volvo. You have to control gas, brake and gear in that. This seems to do it all.

What year is this BMW

Screen options seem to be very different on my BMW. Is there a software version for this? Car model specific?

It asks you to parkt parallel or length like in parking garages.

How does it park if there is no cars on the left or right and you say it only reads obstacles and not the parking lines?

Yes, it's looking for space on both side. If there are lines, it will park between them

I'm sorry but i think this is scary, as much as i would trust that car, i just can't trust that it can park all by itsself. I had a scary experience with a Volkswagen caddy that also had park assist, it would steer very quickly and go quite fast with parking. This Bmw seems to be more calm when parking. Also what's next? Can i sent my car out to run some errands lol? Fitting a little note on it's windshield for the baker so he can put my order in the backseat? Haha.
