Was hoping to replace my Sony WH-XB900N after purchasing these from Amazon for $170. This was a big disappointment. As someone who loves bass, especially when in the gym lifting, it can provide the soundtrack to push me through a tough workout. Unfortunately the sound quality in these Beats are disappointing. It severely lacks bass with the treble and mids being too high. Was hoping to change the sound settings to adjust, but Beats just don't allow this. Sony has an awesome app where you can adjust the sound to your liking and this has been a game changer. Will return the Beats and stick with the tried and true.

I just got mine off the Amazon sale as well and I’m also very disappointed in the sound. Not even at the steep discount were these headphones worth it. I was so confused why so many people think so high of these headphones

Did you check that the ear pads are correctly sealing around your ear? An incorrect fit could cause less bass. RTings and SoundGuys both note that bass is slightly boosted while trebles are boosted, no idea what your previous headphones were like for bass, but the Studio Pros definitely have bass

Just picked up the studio pros, is there a way to activate noise cancellation while connected to usb C?

I believe you lose ANC when connecting via USB-C

tried everything, held this down for 2mins and 20 seconds. still can't connect to Bluetooth and its loud in my right ear and low in the left...can somebody please help me

I love these headphones, but I hate that it no longer has the Apple chip because now I can’t use Headphone Accommodations anymore so I can’t increase the bass

My eq not working

It’s currently on sale in Costco & Amazon 50% off , so I got one. NC is awesome but the sound quality is weird, it lacks bass. I have to turn the volume up to get that bass. I got a $70.00 Srhythm from Amazon, the sound is much better. I’m thinking of returning this thing. Also, it’s a bit tight on my head giving me headache after an hour.

Hold down the power button to pair manually, then go to Bluetooth in the Settings app and pair.

I had that problem but you have to adjust them to your liking/you couldve had a defective pair or ear cups not sealed properly

These are horrible. I feel bad for a one who pays for much for these high brand names. Youre just paying for the name… I have some $20 headphones that are way better than this by Sony. And some offbrand too. I can’t believe people pay full price for these. I just got these for $30 so I figured I could resell them and I was testing them and all my God. Such a rip off even at $30 I would not buy these again thank gosh I’m selling them to somebody who likes having brand-name stuff.

I agree with you, I’ve seen so many reviewers praising these after their release and decided to pick them up on sale for 170 today, biggest disappointment ever , and I can’t believe some people actually paid 300 for this. I wouldn’t even gift these to my enemy 🤣

Like you I got them on Amazon for $170 and they look cool but the sound is meh, the ANC isn’t that great, the build is my biggest issue they feel cheap and like they can break any second. I’ve been using them for around 2 hours and I’m disappointed. My skullcandy ANC shit on this new Beats Pro the Skull candy got WAY more bass and sounds cleaner, my Bose Q45 despite lacking bass they’re still light years ahead the Beats Pro in all categories except bass. Apple dropped the ball with this one. There’s no comfort the ear pads get hot as hell, the clamp pressure is ridiculous and I have a normal size head, no W1 chip is like they regressed from their previous model. Luckily for me people LOVE BEATS so I’ll be able to resell them quick for way more money than I invested. I’ll probably buy the new Bose ultra or maybe the Sony XM-5 during Black Friday.
