I have a recording engineer degree too and you should know that all instruments should be on their own track in mixing in pro tools. I'm not saying he's doing nothing wrong because he is doing everything right but every instrument should be on it's on tracks or it can get a proper mix. I want to know how do you get that same animation on multi-instrument tracks.. I understand the concept but I would have to do it on so many tracks it would be tedious unless you bust the tracks you are trying to use to a aux track and do it that way.

How do you bring up the single fader to the edit window?

i have a question . i did automation and my vocal seems to get louder at the time i used it , the volume spiked for some reason is there a way i can use automation without that happening ?

john p volume automates the fader directly (or vca) So its at the end after your plugin chain.

Can you teach how to automate Autotune Automotion in pro tools?

Help!!! When I use volume on automation and go back to adjust fader it goes back to 0dB everytime. I can move it up of down but when I let go, back to zero. I have to put automation in off mode before I can adjust fader. Any ideas?
